Might want to look at cons at some point, I've seen stickers sold at large prices on steam to increase the 'suggested price' on SP, and then they sell lower on SP showing 60% etc discount, when of course the actual value is way lower. I got done by this, saw a large profit, got greedy and snapped it up before checking in detail :(
Unless you have a volume of minimum 50k€ in skins, it makes no sense anymore to flip skins, because there are API bots everywhere. Sniping is impossible nowdays to make it in a profitable way. Especially on skinport with their fast live api, the bots buying high discounted skins INSTANTLY, so you dont have a chance.
its not entirely like that, i am buying like PieliWieli, now is harder then before, i didnt use for few months i waited to prices stabilize, when i started there was only 400k cs skins on skinport, now is 1.6m, if you are fast enough, you can grab some good deals, mostly i do 27%, i got sometimes lucky on 34%, just you need to be patient and quick hehe Quicker than before. Mainly i have focus on cheaper skins. 2e to 20e, they sell faster. Before got few times lucky with knives.
Yes i mean its possible somehow, but then you have sit on the sitze for hours spamming F5 in 6 different Tabs, and i think for that effort it dosent make sense, since the margin you make as a non bot user is very small.@@Infinityashorts

I even made a quick java program that takes in buy price, sell price, sales fee (0.88, 0.92, etc..), and gives you profit absolute value and profit percentage in return so less brain power spent on calculating stuff :D Also, quick question: What precautions do you take to avoid getting market manipulated? I am not super familiar with CS's market and how much manipulation there is going on, but from experience with some other markets I've seen quite a lot of it.
if i have to wait 7 days until the items are traadeable and the bot sends me the offer, arent the skins untradeable again for 7 more days which would be 14 days in total? or are they instantly tradeable as soon as i receive them in a trade offer?
Well sniping around 6-15 euro / hour. But this fully depends on how fast tou ccan snipe. It takes full concentration because competition is way higher. Buff method made me 20+ and hour because I had a large capital plus I had a few skins that would sell for 30-60% profit so that was very nice. Buff method depends on the capital you have bro. And the discord method is just like look 3 times a day and id your lucky you can make good money . Always try discord it takes maybe 2 mins to check.
I really wish valve would just make the steam market place more like these third party sites and just allow people to get the profit without the steam wallet. I just feel unsafe sharing my banking information on these random cs sites
I understand, although skinport is a trusted site. To get the 5k+ verification with the bank details. You just need to share a transaction in which they csn only see your bank number and transaction value, but nothing else.
Well, in my country if its under 6k you dont need to pay taxes. But probably you wont reach the taxable limit of profit that fast. Legally you should mention it in your taxes. You can just do one payment per month if you prefer

depends on price range, and from what ive seen bots typically dont target knive, agents etc as much as skins and stickers

no, only when it has low float or stickers. if you list a skin before tradeable, ppl are going to undercut you. +never sells untradeable

The problem with steam is that there is a 15% sales fee. Plus steam balance is a balance that you cant withdraw to your bank.
