- Stumbling Gouging Infidelity (Matthew 5:27-37). God created the human body to experience pleasure to enhance our connection to our spouse. When we live on our own terms we damage God’s promises for us. We cannot make oaths because our word doesn’t have the authority of God’s promises. We can’t claim heaven or earth as collateral for our broken oaths.
