Hi, I just would like to clarify here. The Malays, Chinese, Indians, Sikhs, Kadazans, Ibans and all other races, we are all referred to as MALAYSIANS. I think when you said the peranakan food is a mixture of "Malaysian" and Chinese, you meant "a mixture of Malay and Chinese cuisines", right?
Actually, many foreigners don't understand that 'Malaysia' is the name of this Country. 'Malay' is the name of the dominant race here.

@@DisappearforDaysThe Petronas Twin Towers are also one of my favorites things about Malaysia. Few of the objectives of KLCC, were to give KL, Malaysia, an iconic landmark, and the Petronas Twin Towers as a symbol of Malaysia economic miracle in the 1990s. Now the symbol has been renewed by the PNB Merdeka 118 Tower, soon to be occupied by tenants and soon the observation deck, located on one of the highest in the world, will be opened to the public. 😀

@@DisappearforDays Yes, variety mix of architecture, old and new, all blending in together. I also like the architecture of the colonial buildings built by the British. Dataran Merdeka and its vicinity has some of the most beautiful colonial buildings, the Sultan Abdul Samad Building, the Masjed Jameq Mosque, the KTM old train station and its administrative building etc. Ipoh and Penang also have many colonial buildings. Those colonial buildings have so much characters of an architecture aesthetic values. 😀

Besides Xmas and New Year, it is a public holiday for Hari Raya Aidilfitri, Hari Raya Aidil Adha, Gong Xi Fa Chai, Wesak Day, Deepavali, Thaipusam, while there is Hari Gawai in the form of a new year for the indigenous people in Sabah and Sarawak. Not saying the best in the world, but Malaysia has no shortage of resorts such as Langkawi, Tioman, Perhentian Island, Bidong while in Sabah there is a famous Sipadan diving area. I think as a Malaysian, one of the reasons why Malaysians are friendly towards foreigners is because we are able to communicate in English so we don't shy away from them.

You don't need to other country..just go Sabah the go to Sarawak by road then your visa will be stamped at the Sabah Sarawak border. Even Malaysian from Peninsular Malaysia also need a passport when they are going to Sabah and Sarawak because Peninsular,Sabah and Sarawak have a different law of the border.Maybe you can double check about this ✔️

No hand washing facilities inside the mines. Probably why karipap is popular here....the State of Perak used to have many tin mines too. Food for thought, literally. Lol...
