Prep just like you would in your normal makeup application by concealing your dark spots prior to foundation. Then move in small circular motions around the face for even distribution. It's best to apply by layers and move in closer to acne, pimples, scaring and etc. Hope this helps!
I was looking to see what kind of coverage this gives but your complexion is so gorgeous as is!!!
I've been using Luminess for a couple weeks not and honestly I LOVE it. If you work in layers you can get up to the coverage that you need for your skin. This stuff will honestly cover anything, you just really need to take your time getting used to using an airbrush system. The only really big problem with this is if even a drop of water touches your face your foundation will instantly melt off and you'll need to go back and retouch with your luminess. It says if that happens you can take your fingers or a beauty blender and fix but WARNING! don't do that! It smudges and almost looks like you took a layer of your "skin" off. Also I have long eyelashes and I always get these weird lines right underneath my eyes from my lashes and theres no way to avoid it. I would highly recommend using this along with regular foundation/concealer/contour.

I feel like it would have done a better job at covering your blemishes had you kept your eyes open and focused on those areas, as opposed to applying it willy-nilly. Having said that, I want to thank you for the honest review of the product. I loved the results, as I am a light make-up wearer; this is right up my alley. I loved the glow...I will be purchasing this product.

I’m going to try this because I like my natural face. I don’t like the look makeup gives me with full coverage and all that glam. But I still have acne scars. So I think this will work for me because it covers the blemishes with a second coat but it stills give you a natural look.
I heard for any dark spots , acne scars and redness to go in closer on those spots and then slowly move out to blend it :)

I just bought the pro system and received it in the mail today and it doesn't work at all. I read the instructions multiple times and i put the recommended drops in but the make up spurts out without me even pulling back the trigger on the stylus and when I pull back lightly, all the make up is out by the time i raise it to my face and it never gets to my face. i am now searching for answers because either i was sent a broken system or i misunderstood the instructions and i read them multiple times thinking what i was doing it wrong for it to not do anything. i tried contacting the company all day and no help. so now i'm searching on youtube. i noticed yours ran out fast too and that's what happened to mine but i didn't even pull the button/trigger back, but right after adding the drops it spurts out of the stylus within 3 seconds. i am so frustrated because i spent extra money on the upgrades and i feel like this system is shit. i've been a cosmetologist for ten years and used other air brushing systems that worked differently. i am still waiting on feedback from the luminess airbrush make up system company but i need more info on others experience to see if i have a broken stylus or i am not suppose to turn it on til it's pointed at my face and even though the instructions say to turn the system on then add drops and then bring it 6-8 in from your face while lightly pulling the trigger back on the stylus. does anybody know why make up comes out without me pulling back on the stylus?
I want to see this done on a horrible face. Your face is already nice so I can't tell the difference. I want to purchase for my daughter but not if its not worth it.....I know this is old but I'm researching this and you popped up so thanks for the video!!
There aren’t different modes on the air brush system. She was using it in cleaning mode. Also there is a mixing mode on the brush. That’s why she ran out so quickly.

Lol! Yes on the commercial the women did open their eyes but maybe when you get closer to your eyes then close them. She was getting use to it on here but did a good job helping us out. That air can feel weird if your not use to it especially around your eyes. I don’t wear makeup often so I may do the same starting out.😂

I use other makeup products on top of my luminess including contour, highlight, concealer and different powder products and it looks flawless! Hope this helps!

Hi Chimere, nice video! You can mix two different shades more efficiently by a simple process called backbubbling: cover the tip of the nozzle with your finger so the air stops, and lighlty pull the lever. You can build the coverage more with extra layers, but it works best if you pull back as little as possible on the lever. Xox

I was thinking if I were to buy it I would get a shade lighter for highlight, my shade, and 2 shades darker for contour. And maybe your blemishes werent covered because you kinda focused on the middle and didnt really get to where your problem areas were. Youre very pretty ♥ thanks for the video.

I use airbrush foundation, from the very same company also. It seemed as though you might have been pressing the stylus nozzle too harshly if all of the product is gone that quickly. Just thought I'd give some input, really enjoyed your video (first impressions).

As listed in the title this video is also a demo of how they product should be used.
This is not how to apply foundation with airbrush, it’s not easy at first. But you have to really know how to control the lever. Should’ve mixed the color in the pot, and angled the pen downwards not straight forward.
Anddd in circular small motions
This video is years old and in the video I stated this was new to me so I did it the best way I know how.
I see no difference like at all from using it and having nothing on your skin lol. Definite pass

Maybe you should watch the actual tutorial from the company. You’re using it wrong. I’m not criticizing, because I think you’re a very beautiful young lady, but watch the actual company’s tutorial. They show you just how to use it. Then you can show others. I use it & it’s wonderful.
