Inner and outer bar ends are excellent add ons for endurance riding. I ride both on my flats and do 60 to 100 mile rides often

im 189cm with a relatively short inseam for my height. With 175mm crank arms get this strange bounce at high cadence and it drives me mad. Been running 155mm arms lately and it removes the bouncing at high cadence which is nice.

I ride a slightly too big bike.. I think. It is very comfortable but sometimes it gets away from me and I really have to hold on to the horse 😂
Its great for jumps though and fast chunk and blown out bikepark.

I've got no fear about electric rear mech's I just like my bike to be solid state, granted if it axs ran on button cell batteries I'd be alright with it plus it shouldn't need an app to work/set up or anything. Plus my bike already cost more than both my cars I don't need to drop another grand on a groupset

The first test "Gravel Bike vs Mountain Bike." Are you guys sponsored? I am not falling into the Marketing Advertising just for the bike companies to get me buy another bike. In the 70's before BMX Bikes were invented, I took my 20" 72 Schwinn Stingray and put Schwinn "knobbie" tires on it and rode on the Motocross tracks. I also rode it on the street to get to the track, (Road, Mountain, Gravel, etc. all in one). I could rip around the turns and I wouldn't crash like road bikes because of gravel on the road. With my first flat on a Team Fuji (1884) I sold that bike because I had to walk 2 miles. This started my first Mountain Bikes a Fuji Sundance).
In 2001, I wanted to upgrade to Rapid Fire shifting or better brakes, but couldn't so I got a 2001 Specialized Rockhopper with Hydraulic Discs, (I thought it was a salesman trick). I saved a lot of money with just the evolution of brakes alone, (center pull, side pull, parallel push, etc, now you have 27'5", 29", etc). I still ride my Rockhopper (hardtail) and use the Specialized Crossroards tires, (knobbies on the sides with a raised strip down the center for the road). I mostly ride on isolated bike lanes so I have never had an accident of close call in 45 years. Here in Hawaii we have such bad roads, I have gotten only 2 flats in my lifetime, this another reason why I ride a mountain bike on the street. The Magura brakes have never failed or leaked till this day. My mechanic said if the mineral fluid is not leaking, no need to flush it. I took the bike world 23 years to realize hydraulic discs are superior brakes. You wouldn't buy a car that didn't have hydraulic discs brakes or suspension), right??!!
I just bought a NOS Litespeed Titanium Full Suspension frame for $300 USD (regular price $3,000 USD). I am building my first bIke with all Shimano components except with Magura brakes. After all it should be easier than restoring my 1957 Porsche while I was in college, right?
In the 70's Motorcross motorcycles used 18" wheels in the back with 21" wheels in the front, (what you call "Mullet"). This is like the movie Back to the Future. Be safe, be smart and don't waste your money!

Bike company's scamming everyone, gears work or they don't, even crap ones work OK. I ain't falling for this shit anymore. Not with bikes not with phones . We're being took for mugs, ive got old bikes new bikes my old deore on a 2000 bike changes just as good as the new high end one kn my new bikes. This shit only matters to say the top 10 best races. Makes no odds to 99 percent of people pottering round the woods

I've still got a orange c16r with Shimano LX 8 speed that still works perfectly. Brakes are shite though
