Thanks. I never knew these existed. I can think of two or maybe three areas in my life where they can come in handy. First as a prepper who wishes to remain anonymous. No noise and only the smell of food to give you away. Ditto for a hunter. No smells other than the food to give away ones location. Thirdly, as a heater on a canoeing for a meal mid sea navigation. A book called Commitment and Open Crossings tells of such a trip across to Ireland from Cornwall. The duration meant that a hot meal would be a nice idea, so they had self heating tins of food, rather than set up a cook area for their stoves. Thank you. I'll look at these things.
@@Nellyontheland honestly I think they’re amazing. I got them for going away in the van, going hiking & going on my dad’s boat. They work similar to the flameless ration heaters, but obviously you can warm a greater variety of foods in them. You can eat straight from the white container, but I recommend not doing so, so it lasts a bit longer. A pack of disposable plates or bowls is cheaper than another one of these that got damaged with a knife or fork
Very handy bits of kit as an alternative cooking method and it heats up plenty of food, I've seen smaller versions for camping, they are lunchbox size, thats definitely a extra option and seems easy enough to set up.
@@elizabethanderson3994 yes I think they’re amazing things. I keep them in my campervan for when I go in it alone & it’s not worth cooking a full meal for 1. Just something quick into one of these & you’re set. On our campervan channel, we steamed some cod loin to go with the veg using these steamers. And we even had cake & custard for dessert too.
Hiya thanks for the video matey. That steam coming out look quite powerful. It’s a shame they are not made out of sturdier material to last longer and the heating stones reusable in some way. I wonder what chemicals are being spread over your food with the steam. I’m guessing it’s the same as for Army MREs, so hopefully they are not poisoning our army lads. Did it taste any different.
@ Sorry 🤣🤣🤣 There is so much chemicals put on our food, I’m sure a little bit more wont hurt you. Did you see my last vid on Asda using Bill Gate’s Apeel concoction. I think Tesco have dabbled using it to. Catch you again on your next video. Take care.
@ I did. The food is full of 💩, then they spray 💩 on top other food. Unfortunately they don’t grow our food in cow 💩anymore, otherwise it might actually have some goodness in it! I remember years ago a lot of Indian farmers were killing themselves due to the debt they got into buying GM seeds. They weren’t allowed to save seed to grow the crop the next season otherwise the seed company sued them. And the seeds they bought were modified to put something into the ground (or it could’ve been to remove something) so unmodified seeds didn’t grow where the GM seeds had previously been. But they tell you everything is safe to eat 🤔
@ Poor Indian farmers. They just want to take away good food from the table don’t they. The elite/royalty will have organic farms and massive, I mean massive organic kitchen gardens to get ingredients from, whereas we will just eat Solent green and manipulated food products. Take care, catch you again.

Something something Steamed Hams something something... Can this Steam a good Ham?
As long as the ham is safe to eat before steaming & it also fits in the tub, then yes.
