I will go with the Hector, I love it for the better build and interior quality.
I hv driven both : If u r looking for power and speed . Go with harrier. On the same road, i can start few seconds later on harrier and still beat and overtake hector. I did it several times.
If u r looking for features..go with hector. But the wheels look like small short legs on a big fat fellow. I never understood why hector will give such thin legs to hector? The front grill is not designed well.
If hector can make the wheels 17 inch or 18 inch, I will sell my harrier right now!! 😅

If you want to go by looks then it is Harrier... But if u want more Driver and passenger comfort then it is Hector..... I hv driven both nd finally went with Hector Diesel.
Also bigger tyres = more road noise.

Tata Harrier
You are absolutely wrong in many of your points bud. You gotta compare apples to apples. MG is way more sophisticated and has feature rich variants. It gives you more bang for the buck yet still offering tremendous amount ride comfort and great stable drive. Its power is more adequately sufficient both in the city and on the highway cruise. Even on base automatic variant of f Hector gives you big touchscreen led lights and many more necessary features. All big manufacturers do a lot of cost cutting from the base and 2/3 tier variants in their products. Compare them with the mighty MG products. And even for the top end versions the prices are way more less comparatively and attracts hell lot of features and more importantly sales and services after you purchase the vehicle. Indian brands like Tata and Mahindra should do more and learn from these others brands are performing. Ultimately the end user should be winning for the usability and quality, right???!!!!

I driven both Harrier and Hector.
1. Suspension - Harrier
2. Comfort - Harrier
3. Music, Infotainment and Camera - Harrier
4. Stability, Breaks - Harrier
5. Safety - Harrier
6. Steel used, Architecture - Harrier
7. Engine made by FCA which is JV between FCA and TATA, so it can call as TATA made.
8. Diesel Automatic - Automatic
9. Service - Now TATA is better that MG.
Then what basis you are encouraging Hector.
See other Auto channel are considered Harrier.

Also HECTOR center screen looks very good, but hopeless. To operate AC you have to use touch screen, which is just shit
MG aftersales service is one of the best in India. MG build quality is more consistent as well. Can't say the same about Tata.
Harrier has the worst interior fit and finish compared to Mg Hector, Xuv700, Jeep compass.
They all have the same engine Fiat 2.0L diesel engine.
Except for the camera quality, infotainment and music system is almost same coz harrier infotainment lags alot too.

Let sales no. speaks for itself- Hector have 1713 units sales last month whereas harrier sales is 1347 and its be declining every month for harrier since January.
Having a custom platform derived from Land Rover won't do any good if Tata can't even fix their quality issues for a car that cost 28-30 lakhs on road.

@@KBR-117 planning to buy Harrier this fall but after inside it… i have second thoughts. My friend have the new Hector Petrol Manual , even though Hector have more body roll than harrier, both have soft suspension so city ride quality is almost same. Harrier Dark edition have 19inch wheel which i dont get the chance to drive. It may feel more bumps on pottholes than regular harrier. I might go for Hector Diesel coz petrol Manual gives like 9-10 kmpl

Harrier interiors are v Mediocre with lots of plastic on doors n dashboard....lacks the premium feel which MG has
