Only a few Vanirs were able to fight and they are up against Odin's entire army, Thor included. So that's alone should says how powerful she is. 2. She was able to stop Thor Force-fully in matter of seconds, that was a Feat describe by Mimir to be the greatest of magic he ever seen and admitted that this feat only possible to do if Jotun Kings were to combine their power but Freya did it alone, in matter of seconds. 3. Do you know of another God/Being that made a joke of Leviathan Axe & Mjonir's powers? Do share. 5. Even Sigrun admitted just how Powerful Freya is. Mimir said that Freya being Most Powerful Vanir Goddess and that her powers was revered by all Valkyries. 6. Her Protection Charm were so powerful that even Odin couldn't help Baldur break it and it was so complex that he couldn't even cast it on himself. The only reason Baldur was able to be harm by mistletoe because Freya forgot to include it in her spell. 7. Even before she was "Whole" She have shown no fear in fighting Kratos and overpower him multiple times, though admittedly, he wasn't trying to kill her either. She was the only in the entire game that could damage Kratos' shield in a single swing. Completely destroyed his shield. 8. Have absolutely have no fears of Odin. While saying her Falcon form is limiting, she merely use this form to fight in Ragnarok. She didn't even show her true Valkyrie form when fighting. Her entire fight in this Realms of War were merely her in a stupid bird form. Her weakest of all forms. 9. Brought Odin to his knees in seconds. Her magic was so strong that he couldn't break free of it directly, so instead he distracted her concentration. 10. Even affected by Odin's curse, she was able to cast spell so strong to prevent Kratos & Atreus from going inside her house no matter what. 11. She reanimated Thumur while being magic bound to not attack yet manage to Stop two of the Most Powerful Gods from fighting each other to a certain degree. Her vines are strong enough to Stopped Kratos, if not forever, at least temporary or long enough for her to slit his throat. She is surpassed that of All Valkyrie combined. And Gna is actually merely a servant of Freya's. Served as her messenger. Gna is not even equal to Sigrun in powers, otherwise she would've been the Queen. Sigrun was chosen because of her powers, Gna was chose because there was no one else. In fact, Gna wasn't a Valkyrie before all of these. There & always had been just 9 Valkyries. It was only after defect of these 9, that Odin create new ones. However, there is no saying how long he can keep them in their Corporal Form, after all, they went insane after a certain time. Only Freya was able to use Vanir Magic to truly turned them into a Physical Beings now called "Shield Maidens". Even fights with Sigrun is almost impossible to achieved if you didn't train with 8 Valkyries before hands. Gna was easily beaten. Beside, in the 2018, there were lots of armors and preparation to fight Sigrun. I remember a set I've build, was able to regenerate Runic almost every 30 sec, and Frost Giant Breath actually does insane amount of damage and cancel all Enemies attack, in fact, if you time it right, before Valkyrie decent from their Hanging Posture on start up, you can actually took away 70% of their health which is what I did. And I only had to fight 30% of Sigrun's health and it was INSANE. I can't imagine fighting Sigrun with set I've build in Ragnarok, it was a weakest set of all.

As for "taking out Thor in mere moments" this is false, to my knowledge Thor was simply not a target of hers and Odin was the object of her vengeance, not Thor. Even in valkyrie form Kratos does still defeat her with relative ease compared to Sigrun. Her "de-powering" the leviathan axe is pure bullcrap, the closest thing was when the axe didn't return in 2018 after throwing it into the water to bring the World Serpent out.
Sigrun and others : "our General are ruthless, so he for sure gonna give that Traitor perfect beating!" too bad Freya was there, if it just Kratos, he gonna rip and tear that wings for sure.
Even though people say the Valkyries wanted Gná to have her wings ripped off, because of how brutally Kratos killed them before, I'd also like to think it's because of what happens during Ragnarök. I didn't catch it the first time, but when you're fighting to the war machines when Ragnarök starts, when Mimir and Freya realise that Gná's the new Valkyrie Queen, she'd actually just finished ripping Olrun's wings off right in front of you, before flying away. Freya probably told Sigrun and the others what happened either when she went to cut the Einherjar off from Valhalla, or after Asgard was destroyed.
You know this comparison makes a lot of sense. Odin and thor and Then Freya and Kratos as Atreus is in the middle to chose which ending he would get himself involved in.
Kratos: They were...intense on the subject of Gna. If I was foolish enough to believe women did not hold vengeance as men did, that would have taught me a firm lesson. Freya: Imagine if this were an anime. Girls there...sisterhood can be a fleeting thing.

Yeah, has to be said this battle was a LOT easier than the fight against Sigrun and even the other Valkyries in the 2018 game, I can't even count just how many times I died to Sigrun alone, beat this one on the second try.
Isn't it funny that the first thing all of these valkyries say when you're done turning their bodies into peanut butter is say 'Thank you friends', and for the biggest baddest of them all going 'You have the eternal blessings of the valkyries' like that's not really what I was expecting after inflicting a brutal, violent death on someone and their peers, one after another.

Later on in ancient Greece: "In my homeland. There is a tradition called 'flipping the bird'. To do so, hold up both of your middle fingers like this. It is a sign of gratitude, a greeting that means peace amongst worlds." Mimir: wait... isn't that a reference to-- Kratos: Silence head. Son, see that man down there? He's not dead. 4. She strong enough to cancel the power of Leviathan Axe, a powerful weapon that equal to Mjonir.
@@austinjt4264 INCREDIBLE! EVERY SINGLE BIT OF WHAT YOU SAID WAS HORRIBLY WRONG! Freya is just a brat, she couldn't even come close to killing Kratos or surpassing him. Also, she's a goddess of love by her own admission, not a goddess of war. People have also claimed that Odin is a God of War, which is false seeing how that spot is filled by Týr.
@@austinjt4264 Also, you seem to claim that her knowledge that Kratos is a powerful God also grants her access to see his past, but yet she reacts with surprise to the stories Kratos tells of his past? Do you think she's a female Heimdall? Never seen such a dumb comment.
Guess Gunnr plays Mortal Kombat on her days off with that comment about ripping skulls through backs...lol.
"This land is peaceful, it's inhabitants kind".
Sigrun: Rip Out Her Spine!!!
Sigrun and others : "our General are ruthless, so he for sure gonna give that Traitor perfect beating!"
too bad Freya was there, if it just Kratos, he gonna rip and tear that wings for sure.
For some reason the cut to kratos doing all the work made me laugh
She tore her spine through her back. Classic finish. It's what I would have done!
Sub-Zero: "You honor me!"
I imagined Kratos in a campfire with the Shield Maidens, training them, and telling them stories of Sparta.
I love these valks aka shield maidens even if they caused me grief in the last game! They are, sassy!
Accepting your defeat way more graceful than Heimdall.
I wish we got to see more of them unmasked!!!! Gow r the Only depiction of Valkyries I care ab
Record of Ragnarok got Valkyrie unmasked
Old kratos would do all those things, also, Sigrun was harder than gna….
Agreed. I pretty much overwhelmed Gna with wrath and runic attacks. Sigrun would have punished me so hard if I tried that in my opinion.
Well yeah, Odin was Sigrun's first choice. Gna was only chosen after she was gone.
as expected from 'real' Queen of Valkyrie that even Freya approved, of course she more stronger than Gna
@@gracecalis5421 you meant that sigrun was Odin’s first choice.
@@usurparemagnus yeah that
I'm not sure if anyone noticed in the comments. Freya was given full credit. Kratos and Mimir played along without missing a beat.
"Explain yourself head. Or are you bewitched again?"
"Not at all! Baldur IS invulnerable to all threats! Physical or magical."
seriously what was the Valkyries browser history look like? they seriously have hard kink on finishing off Gna.
You know this comparison makes a lot of sense. Odin and thor and Then Freya and Kratos as Atreus is in the middle to chose which ending he would get himself involved in.
never have I ever heard the valkyries so bloodthirsty
It's was sooo unsatisfying when kratos did the R3 finisher and then didn't rip the wings off
He could if Freya was not with him.
He did made a promise that he wouldn’t rob her of the choice between life and death again. This kill was hers since they were freinds once.
I thought it was satisfying.
Honestly, it's better that way. Ripping their wings off is kinda annoying since Kratos did that 9 times already.
@@no_less03 agreed. We got to see her get a proper execution which was cool.
Eir's laugh gives me more joy than I thought possible after beating the boss and all the bullshit it put me through.
Love their reaction. it makes them alive, and these simple dialogue tells the player a good bit about them.
💀
Oh my God, Atreus gow4 voice is so weird now after all this time lol.
0:22 Lol, mortal mom at reference
The maidens wings look beautiful
Kratos: They were...intense on the subject of Gna. If I was foolish enough to believe women did not hold vengeance as men did, that would have taught me a firm lesson.
Freya: Imagine if this were an anime. Girls there...sisterhood can be a fleeting thing.
Mimir: Brother, may i reccomend something called an "anime" from the eastern lands? it may help you understand more about a womans mind.
Kratos: hmmmm fine. what is the name of this "anime"?
Mimir: i believe it's called "school days" Brother, a real head scratcher that one, but teaches a valuable lesson about the female mind and the jealousy it could harbour.
Kratos: hm, maybe the boy should also watch this.
@@godsplayingfield Mimir: I see the boy more as a non-doormat Keitaro from Love Hina. Only needs a Shinobu.
Kratos: What of this 'Elfen Lied'? This Lucy has an admirable approach to matters.
Mimir: Could have called that you'd go for that one, brother.
@@shoresean1237 Freya: i feel he may be a Cou from Elemental Gelade with Ren.
Kratos: explain.
Freya: well, he is in love with a mystical girl he knows very little about and is already willing to kill and die for her. in addition, he is your son. chances are he is going to die and then revive in some manner.
Mimir: she's got us there brother.
Kratos: mm.

Ah... I love reading these in their voices.
Kratos and Gna stopped during mid-execution when they heard Freya, like your siblings fighting and your Mom walked into the room.
The sad thing about most enemies that you kill is that, they are all just victims. victims of Odin
Gunnir: no. SURELY you tore her spine out through her back, classic finish.
Kratos: Hmm Where have I heard that before?
*Mortal Kombat flashbacks*
im still waiting for an update to fix the gna trophy issues because theres no way in hell im fighting her again lol
Gunnr is a Sub Zero main I see
Kratos do like ripping peoples wings off, too bad Freya was there.
Seems Sigrun might still be a bit bitter about how she died
I never knew you could get Freya an armour set from the Gna fight
The Valkyrie Queen armour is BEAUTIFUL
There's no way Freya's not reinstating the Valkyries. She would have to look Thrud in the eyes and tell her she can't realize her dream. With Scary Sif watching. And the Shield Maidens in the distance, like 👁👄👁 *my queeen*
Now I want to see a Death Battle between Wonder Woman and Freya
Bruh these Shield Maidens are absolutely Brutal xD
Fun fact: Gna kills a Valkyrie right in front of you, in the Ragnarok she does it fast so you might miss it.
Here I thought the Valkyries were like Athena. They out here like the Furies.
I cannot imagine Sigrun asking that without having Vietnam flashbacks
The Valkyries are such badasses
Icarus seeing this
Oh I Sigrun I expected you to be the most tamed out of all the Valkaries😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Kratos: I like these valkyries.
*Freya preaching forgiveness"
Kratos' mind: "Phhhhhheeeewwwww"
Another hard lesson taught well by this games excellent tale; even when the heart and mind are in better places, even when we can forgive and carry on together, you can't save everyone. Sometimes, you just can't.
Kinda wish Freya had fought Odin in that queens armor. And, to be pedantic they need to remove the damn macrame cape off her.
Sorry but you can't not love Eir and Gunnr 😂😂😂
Can't hate*
@@namesurname7172 yeah, my English is not 100
They surprised me too… didn’t expect them to be that bloodthirsty lol. I respect it tho
Kratos - "I am nicking the helmet."
That’s what Doom Slayer would do. Rip and tear.
And goblin slayer
Yeah...she did scream a lot when I tore her wings off
Am I the only one who suffered a lot with sigrun than her? Sigrun lived in my head rent free for about two years when i defeated her… it even took me 3 tries before I started playing ragnarok because I wanted refresh my memory of the game. Gna was just one attempt for me… didn’t even use the resurrection stone
Yeah, has to be said this battle was a LOT easier than the fight against Sigrun and even the other Valkyries in the 2018 game, I can't even count just how many times I died to Sigrun alone, beat this one on the second try.
I think Freya would've gotten farther had she actually bothered to apologize rather than say, "yeah, same, but you gotta get over it fam."
“I wronged you, and I cannot change that… never apologize enough for it.”
Kratos: let me shove this big ass helmet in my back pocket
If Gnà joined them Sigrun and the other would basically *Bully* her Lol
0:20 this has to be a mortal kombat reference to Scorpion
The sad thing is we can’t even glide with them like young kratos did
It took two trys to beat gna the berserker king was harder to beat

Why does everyone go to the finish before she finish her dialogue
I thought this was God of war not mortal Kombat
Well GNA did ambush Olrun during Ragnarok and killed her by ripping her wings off which got me mad wished almost all the Valkyries now Shield Maidens would be able to survive Ragnarok
"I'm in a good mood "(Kratos) when is the next game we might hear that from the god of war's mouth. The things mentioned by Kratos in the latest games are not what I would expect given his destructive behavior in Greece.
I was hoping to jump Gná with all nine Valkyries. Or at least have them show up and watch during the execution
Sometimes I miss the old Kratos...he would've ripped off her wings, threw her face first into a lava pit and spent the red orbs on weapons upgrades.
Who you think is stronger Gna vs Sigrun??
Ofc Sigrun but what you think.
I'd say Sigrun.
Sigrun would clap
its so weird hearing atreus's baby voice 😅
Damn their really friendly and i'd love to hamg out with them

0:19 Blood Eagle, or in this case Blood Valkyrie I suppose
Not quite Blood Eagle ritual was actually done by cutting up from the tailbone and separating each rib from the spine while the victim was bound tightly and the fanning the rib bones out and removing the lungs and heart to make the corpse take a bird like shape when it was displayed.
@@anonymousnate678 yeah I know, but I'd still pretty much like to think that's the Valkyries were implying!

Alternate universe: Kratos rips off the valkeries wings, and also has a set for Atreus. "Son. We have one last thing to do. We must return to my homeland."
Later on in ancient Greece:
"In my homeland. There is a tradition called 'flipping the bird'. To do so, hold up both of your middle fingers like this. It is a sign of gratitude, a greeting that means peace amongst worlds."
Mimir: wait... isn't that a reference to--
