Allen Iverson used to get called for that violation many times in the game as well. You can't fool me. A carry is a carry whether someone got away with it or not, and yeah when he first started doing it he was getting away, but not every time.

At least get footage of using the move during a game or go to a park, use the move on people that are not going to know the move you're going perform

He's right, if you truly love basketball you will find time to fix your game. Once you develop basic skills is when the true lovers of the game show, after you manage the basics you will be left dry showing only subtle changes. Stay strong an work on your handles as often as you can, if you truly love the game your talent will show in no time.
for real man listen to these guys! im 5'6 130 and play at a park full of guys that have 5-8" on me (just a guess). i was terrible when i first showed up but over time i kept going back and going back waiting for my turn. practice at home, shoot there in the rain, at 11pm, first thing sunday morning. now about 4 years later if i go back there today theyll all know my name and what im capable of. im no god of basketball or any sport at all, but i stuck to it and so did these other guys.. no excuses in sports.

My most common move would be to try as if you're going to give the ball to the opponent every time you attack, then pull it back (enemy will try to steal the ball by stimuli) and go inside for a score.
"Basketball moves" tutorial he clearly knows how to ball so he must be (not traveling) carrying on purpose just to show you that you can get past the defender with the move.
I see a lot of touching the ball from the bottom and flipping to the top when you touch the ball from the bottom and flipping it down that is a carry and hesitating just before you make a quick first step with your hand under the ball holding it is freezing your dribble , this is why the defender gets in close , because you have stopped the dribble.
When he does the snapback It's definitely better to not jump when shooting. Rather keep your mind clear and don't rush it. He is good enough so he can jump, though. Keep it up!
In a game situation you'll need to add eye fake and hesitation with shoulder to really stunt your opponent. Otherwise the wide dribble means a good chance of getting stolen. And no flip palms whatsoever. I'm a ref, when I see hesitation that's the first thing I look for.
