Im looking foward to seeing it myself, great vid scott
Thank you Colin
Scorpion Communals are always fun, this kind of makes me want to set one up again. Sadly I have no space for it, otherwise I'd try to set one up. Have said it in the past, have had a communal of Swammerdami, got mine as adults, but they still lived for over half a decade, I never did get any offspring on them though. I kept those in a big glass terrarium with deep substrate and lots of hides and plants. It was a miniature rainforest in there.
In regards to other communals... Some days I want to try the thing another keeper over here in Sweden did around a decade and a half ago, a gigantic terrarium with 100+ Tityus Stigmurus. Such a communal is a majestic thing to see. Then I think better of it, and bury such plans again, until the next time I think about it.
Tityus sound like he had a amazing communal , and you can make space I'm sure
THANK YOU Scott. After seeing this and getting advice from Mr B as well I am going to pop my Silenus together. My question is can you add more?
Kind regards Mark Mingard
Who's Mr B ? I can't see why you couldt but I've not seen it done before myself, effectively adding a animal to a established pack 🤔
@@ScottsInverts @TimBaxterJScorps. I should have just put Tim Baxter. Sorry for confusion. Also thank you for the advice re the white lady dancing huntsman. I have made it with a deep substrate as I have... more sand next week.
Mr Baxter is another level , and any time
Awesome video Scott, I have 3 spinnifer living together, and 2 silenus (think male) living together, never had any issues with any of them
Brilliant news , exciting to have another communal , aren't they epic
@@ScottsInverts definitely mate,
Bang on Scott 😊 some lovely high red colouration on them aswell, I've had 2 spinifers living together for 2 years with no issues
Great stuff, I'm looking forward to this lot maturing together
Looking good flower. The males tail was twitching which is a sign of him putting the moves on them. I’ve no doubt they will be getting jiggy. Good job mate 👌🏻
Thank you, poppet , and thank you for all the support too bro
Don’t Hate Me !! I would have to say good luck with that 😳
Please let us keep up with your success 🤞🤞
❤️ 💙 you. Don't like scorps no way
I do have one, but I can’t imagine 5 in an area that small. I have seen a really big enclosures with a few in it. The one I have is a baby from them, only around 2 inches. 🖤
You will really go crazy either way a UV light 🤣
Uv light I need to get
Hello great video information Scott
Thank you moon
Brilliant video again from are very own ginger
Cheers Cringe I'm strawberry blonde tho lol
Scott, I have a question. MyAFS had babies. Will springtails be okay with baby scorpions? Just wondering. I have her in a 20 gallon long aquarium, but wondering if the springtails or isopods will be safe for the babies? Im guessing, as babies, they be very soft. Thanks brother.
They will be fine with springtails and tiny isopods as they won't come off muns back untill they harden up
@@ScottsInverts Appreciate it brother!
🖤
❤️ 💙
Hey are you sure those holes are enough to get proper ventilation?
Yeah all good I attend my enclosures more then most tbh so the lids off alot, and no problems with molud as of yet altho I have added alot of springtails to it since the video
@@ScottsInverts Thats great, also I'm paranoid about mold so I'd better get some springtails too. Just one thing, how do I maintain them in the enclosure, if at all? Because I'm afraid that if I get them and they die It's gonna attract mold
