I am having the same issue. Completely unplayable, when I use a different layout it works just fine.

Sorry fellas I can't get that problem so I don't know what is causing it for you. Is it in the same direction every time? Check here to see if you're drifting maybe: hardwaretester.com/gamepad
If you are you can adjust your stick deadzones in steam. Otherwise check your key bindings, did you remap or change anything different to the video? Failing that, do you get the same problem if you try someone else's controller layout?

@@comengmengmeng i tried your settings today and it works, its verys strange, sometimes the joystick ramdomly turn, and some days not . and its not on your settings, its all same. it comes frome the game itself
Thanks for the guide. For some reason my cursor keeps blinking and isn’t working correctly. Any ideas on why?
For menu navigation and inventory? I have the same problem when using the right stick to move cursor which is why I have to use the mouse for those. Or is it a different problem?
My one keeps returning to the centre on any menus. Real pain in the ass

just downloaded to my asus rog ally and can't get passed the character name section, i'm currently using the asus joystick, do i need a controller to play? have no idea what to do
Sorry I don't have your device so I wouldn't know. I find for navigating menus/map/inventory in this game I have to use mouse, but for general gameplay I use xbox controller.
What layout are you using for controller?

I just play games with controller I don't have anything to do with the devs so not idea if or when sorry.
Steam controller support is pretty good dude but I've found REwasd is the best. You can get a free trial and download other people's setups. Think to buy it is around £15 off memory but nit 100% sure. Let's you play any game with any controller
The game developers tweeted saying Controller support will be added eventually

Yeah it is a bit hard, the inventory and map need to use the mouse. Whether it is worth the buy right now is up to you, this is still early access with a number of bugs and issues.
@@comengmengmeng thanks, i tried your settings very good!! but what your aim sensitivity after playing hours? i struggle to aim ennemies, i tried to put 55% on big picture steam ads , but its really hard to be accurate
My sensitivity is as it comes on the config. I'm not very good, but I find holding breath helps for shooting at range.
Are you using a wireless controller?
No, I’m using wired.
I am using a wireless xbox one controller from like 2015, but it is plugged in via usb cable.
