Is the rear differential fill plug oil different from the haldex unit fill plug? It looked like you drained the differential and placed new oil into the differential instead of the haldex unit
Have you guys ever replaced the angle gear/transfer case ring and pinion gears or shafts my input shat on mine is stripped for the collar and having trouble finding new parts.
hello i have a 2005 volvo xc90 with 200,000 miles and the tranny fluid has never been changed i am afraid to do it ,i heard new fluid will make it break true or false thanx Dom
any noises associated with the failure? heavy grinding? its possible the haldex system just failed. you could have also blown the fuse responsible for AWD, thus making it FWD. those would be potential candidates for silent failures.
