I watched you this morning. You remind me of myself because of all your stories are the same stories I heard 35 years ago. I am a C5-7 quad that was injured 35 years ago. I had collapsed lungs, a trac, etc. After not listing to therapists , Dr.'s, I still forged on. Up to 3 years ago I can do as much as I was able to do, except put on socks on my feet. After my service dog died after 19 years . I physically , emotionally feel apart. I still have not been able to get back to the time where I was as independent as possible. Before receiving my new device dog , unfortunately I went down a curb cut out and broke my left femur and my right tibia and fibia bones and was knocked unconscious. That was right after COVID reared it's ugly head into the world. I went to the hospital a few days later. Only to have people try to treat my legs without going near me. They through two types of soft casts at me, and told me to go home. That landed me in bed for 18 months, trying to heal correctly or as good as I was able to heal. Again I lost too much weight and muscle. I was unable to get in and out of bed without assistance, so after leaving the sliding board behind 33 years ago. I am now forced to use it. I wanted to tell you that your videos that helped me and motived me enough to start gaining strength instead of losing strength . I hope you are driving now. I watched your video on 7/2/22 because I followed the Zuk Fitness link. That was provided by united spinal association . I will look for you under @Rachealtoughasnails . Sincerely Phillip Gossett

Hang in there! We know it's a tough life, but we only have control over some of it, so stay strong. Keep up the fitness! I can only help improve your transfers etc. And quality of life.
