Excellent!! I can use this idea in my sewing room to hold my spools in place, since they have a tendency to fall over and roll all over. I can see many uses for this idea. Thanks!!!!!
I'm just starting on a project, cleaning and refreshing a beautiful antique dresser. No, I'm not painting it. 😊. The burl veneer, though in need of regluing in several places, is much too pretty to hide. The interiors of the drawers are something of a mess. One was covered in spilled nail polish. I was able to remove the polish and got all of the red out but some dark stains (ink?) remain and are unsightly. Searching Google for ideas on lining the drawers in such a way that wouldn't cause more harm than good, I came across your video. This is a BRILLIANT idea! I will find some pretty, vintage look fabric to use instead of the non slip liner you have here. Thank you so very much for this tip! It will certainly add a nice, elegant touch to the finished project.
Personally I’d use vinyl contact paper, which already has an adhesive on the back of the paper. Just peel as you go, press to the foam board, and wahla. Then you don’t have all those grooves that can collect unwanted dust and dirt, and the vinyl contact paper is easily wiped down for cleanliness. Use the foam board and add dividers to prevent items from sliding around and clanging. Just wrap the divider pieces with the vinyl contact paper as well so they blend in, and are easily wiped. If you want contrast to easily see the divided spaces just use a complimentary colored vinyl contact paper. This way you can make the divider spaces to your own preferences.
This is a great idea! But I often have trouble with this type of drawer liner chemically reacting to certain types of plastic. This is especially true when using it in toolbox drawers. The plastic boxes that some tools come in, flat plastic measuring tools (e.g., size gauges for drill bits, bolt threads, etc.), as well as some tool handles will melt into and adhere to the liner and leave an ugly mess when you pull them apart. For some of these items you can use adhesive-backed felt dots or narrow strips to keep them from contacting the liner. However, this stuff can't be beat when it comes to preventing heavy steel tools from sliding around and banging things up!
There is a similar looking material that is made for tool boxes. Mine was made by Craftsman and I've had it in my Snap-On roll around tool chests for over 25 years. It quite a bit denser than the kitchen use stuff, but it not much, if any, thicker. Oil and grease don't bother it and neither do plastic or rubberized handle on my tools.
While you can remove the liner to clean the drawer- you cannot properly clean the liner since it is glued to CARDBOARD. You can purchase corrugated plastic panels (corriboard) used for making signs and get a more kitchen friendly product.
This seems like a lot of work, especially if you’re doing all the drawers and cabinets. Do you real need the liner? Wouldn’t poster board work well on its own?
This is probably one of the smartest & most common sense things I’ve ever seen on TH-cam!! Thanks for sharing 👍🏼
Did this today. Just stapled the ribbon pull instead of bothering with glue. Made a quick job even quicker. Thank you for the video.
I love this idea! Exactly what I was looking for :)

BRILLIANT, thank you! I'm going to try this.
I agree! I never thought about putting in a tab so I could pull it up
Thanks!
This is a great tip! For home and RV. Thank you Ron
This is great, thank you! Awesome with the ribbon pull, did not think of that but what a special touch! Can't wait to try this! Huge thumbs up !

That's a great idea! I'm going to try it. Thanks
This is great! I’m converting a changing table into a plant shelf, looking for a way to create water resistant and easy clean up “trays” to size.
excellent video!
So smart! Great video!
This was a great video, i'm gonna try this for my home desk drawers and then if it works properly I"ll do it for my desk drawers at work. :D
Great tips! Thank you, Sir!

I too have had this problem with this type of liner. It can really damage plastics.
Most excellent.
Genius!
Perfect‼️
Pretty cool.
Love it!!
sometimes i use those things, but personally I LOVE THE RACKET!
Yea... It makes everyone know you're in control of the kitchen and maybe actually cooking something. 😁
Can I use the sticky back that's on the drawer liner instead of the spray glue to adhere it to the piece cut for the drawer?
Yes
Sweet ty sir

Awesome idea and even a caveman could do it.
since you mentioned ease of cleaning, you may want to give that drawer a coat of polyurethane.

wonder if there is none toxic rubber spray heheheheh
this is a repeat video. its the same video that's labeled as drawer dividers
Looks toxic.
