It looks like a revival of the Allan Holdswordth signature model from Carvin. I always wanted one but they were always beyond my income bracket. I heavily favor multi piece necks, particularly a scarf joint or a laminate, but overall it looks like a top notch instrument. Mahogany and maple can never be wrong. I just got a Sycamore IYV neck through and it is absolutely *the hardest* wood I have ever had to machine. I carved a tremolo cavity to get the action ultra low, and carved out a battery box for the active pickup systems I design and build custom to each instrument. *I have machined mahogany, elm and other super hard tonewoods and nothing comes close to the Sycamore!* We're also in the golden age of cheap guitarist where even something for $150 can match the American made counterpart costing literally 20 to even 20x that, but it's also always a gamble with goofball brands. *CNC building them these days is why it's possible to get these insane deals.* All my dream guitars far out of my price range were fortunately replaced with literally 10 guitars for the cost of just one of them, so, I have about 30 guitars ATM lol!
I own this guitar and absolutely love it. Got it in a trade from a guy. Did you replace the volume/tone knobs? Mine came with matching sparkle knobs. My neck is super toasted looking as well
My custom list, Paul was such a mess that even the imitation ivory inlay were loose and they were rocking I’ve never received that on one of these guitars. And I’ve always been impressed with the tone and how I can manipulate the tone with this guitar like I can any other guitar! This is just a waste of time in a matter of speaking. You have much more knowledge than I do and it does not even take the knowledge that you have to realize that this is a good guitar for the price point! It’s what you are willing to do. If you want it straight out of the box and for it to be perfect, then forget about it, the best example of that I have ever had is the Gretsch lineup. I have pulled them straight off the wall and out of the box and I own four of them. From Simo Holly, body to body, single cut with the Bixby Trello, on all of them, and I love them. They are true to the cut!but I really like this company and I will not diminish their attempt to make a great guitar for the price point!
That really depends on the Squier. There are so many different levels under their purview now it would be challenging to compare. This is definitely much much better than those incredibly cheap Squier starter kits. Compared against their telecasters would be nearly impossible as well as I don’t think there are too many (any? 🤷♂️) Squier teles with tremolos in production at the moment. I would say that this compares very favourably against Squiers that I have played that were mid-upper range with a proper setup, but again, I’m saying this after this M Musi has been setup to my tastes as well. The finish on this thing is pretty, but you’ll likely get something with better QC from Squier. Cheers 🍻!
I think you’re just picking it apart way too much. Just play the damn thing! Because, as we all know, there is a gentleman on TH-cam, who took a hello Kitty guitar and set it up to perfection and play anything that you request. So just stop with this nonsense because these guitars in my opinion Guitars to play! When I compare them to my Les Paul to my Grech lineup, they are absolutely equal and better in someways. It all depends on the set up when you get it. Do you feel like putting in the time to set it up and polish it out? so you’re just one of these guys who’s out to make a buck but let me tell you you can make this guitar sing! There are so many other guitars that review the same way. But if you just spend a little time to focus on the set up, you can have yourself a great guitar. I personally would love to endorsethis guitar. This company! With the advice that you might have to apply yourself. What’s wrong with that? Save a buck and don’t give a buck and don’t give a.

Really appreciate the honest review.
Thanks a bunch- glad you liked it! 🙏🎸
I think the one I received was good out of the box, it plays great
Pretty darn good for the money! If its from the same factory as Eart that would be a good thing since the T380 has gotten excellent reviews.
I quite like the look of those Eart T380s too! Like I need another guitar! 🤣🤷♂️🤦♂️
Country?

Nice find! This one is completely stock. I did add a string tree on the e and b strings after this video but that’s it. 🎸🍻

In your opinion would you say they are at least on par with Squier or better?

Many thanks!!! I’m thinking of picking one up!
Doesn't sound like the pickup change tone at all like the aren't even connected.
