I love vintage as well but I find it best paired with jeans or leather to toughen up and modernize the look and since I work retail and jeans aren’t allowed, so I thrift a lot of houseware, but I truly like the quality of vintage, specially belts, I have too many don’t tell anyone
Mouthwatering selection of pieces. Dresses and skirts are always my favorite clothing and I LOOOVE accessories 😍 I swear we are sisters in spirit because I COLLECT VINTAGE NIGHTIES as well.
My loves...the shirt you are wearing throughout the haul paired with the denim shorts of course (love the juxtaposition), the striped flouncy shirt (love ,love love), the dark rigid shorts (are they dark denim, if so, even better) and the so\ilky blue patterned ones with the diagonal cut leg (I think they are a French knicker cut).
How much fun is it to find op shop treasure? The fact you find them and then pass them on for other people to enjoy as well is just the icing on the cake. P.S love you

Lovely try-on haul! I was surprised by how much black and white you got. Such great pieces. The patriotic t-shirt is the Chilean flag. You say you like the light green colour of the silk blouse, just not on you. I think it looked great against your tan! Lastly, and I hope this doesn't come out sounding weird, I think it would be great if you could do a video tutorial/try-on about choosing the right bra shape/fit based on the top one's wearing. I've been watching your videos for a good while and really admire your bra/top combos. Your bras never show when they shouldn't and when they do (with sheer blouses), you always choose one that adds so much to the look. Undergarments can make such a difference on a look and you always manage to choose the ones that don't make you look dowdy or too risqué. I myself am nearing 40 and have been playing it safe for almost 2 decades by always wearing a chemise under sheer tops. However, I would love to get some tips from you to perhaps risk something different that still looks good and appropriate. I love your videos, your love for fashion and expressing yourself through it.

In my 30's and 40's, I steered completely clear from black as I thought it aged me. And now at 51, I just feel so good in black! I've come full circle and I will always be down for a black and white outfit! 🖤 I had no idea that was the Chilean flag! How ignorant of me! Now I love it even more! 🇨🇱 I can totally relate to playing safe. My personal style has never been overtly sexy or provocative. That doesn't interest me. I dress for me and nobody else. But I do enjoy playing up my femininity, and feeling attractive. It all comes down to confidence. What I put on my body and how I wear it has to feel inherently me. I've always loved wearing a contrasting bra under a sheer top. Wearing a chemise underneath changes the whole look of the sheer top, which is why I never wear them. If I do wear a chemise, it's with a cosy grandpa cardigan! I hated all shades of pink from the time I was 6, but just this last year have started opening up to some shades. Writing bout this actually made me think of what you wrote about not being overtly sexy or provocative, but playing up femininity and feeling attractive. I think those things were very much connected in my case: an early association of pink with femininity, which I also linked to being sexy and ended up avoiding all of it. However, I now see the three as separate and am also not avoiding dressing in a more feminine manner, so that may have opened me to the realm of pink. ☺ Thank you for taking the time to reply.
