    Good review, thank you
    I just can’t see the bottom of your hair at all for length and texture

    Hi there! Do you like hidden crown better than the Luxy halo you had previously? Do you prefer one over the other? Thanks!

      Hi! I still have both actually (but I need to color match them currently lol) It depends on what you're looking for. The Luxy set is very thick so if you have extremely fine hair or short hair and you need the thickness for it to look like your own hair is longer, I would say the Luxy set is a great option. They also come with two extra side panels which give even more volume and thickness around the front. When my hair was long and I wore the Luxy, it was almost a little too much hair for me. The Hidden Crown Halo, you can choose the weight/thickness which was much better for adding extra length and volume to my already long hair without it being too thick and heavy, but if my hair was short and I chose this set, I don't think it would have looked like my own hair because it would have been too sparse through the lengths. I hope this helps!

    Can you style your hair in a ponytail while wearing the daydream? It seems like lifting the hair above the nape of the neck would make it fall off. Have you ever had it slip during wear in a way that other people would notice? I would be mortified if it came loose in public!

      You could wear a low pony with a halo. I have never had it slip off because the hair helps anchor it in place...however I'm not doing things like flipping it around or anything too wild lol

    Hi Lauren!
    I watched both your videos on Luxy and HiddenCrown halos. I recently purchased the HiddenCrown 20” and 16”. I couldn’t get an exact color match so I had my stylist dye them. They came out nicely, but I feel they don’t hold curl very well. I put in an order for the 14” and 18” daydream to have more options in regards to weight and even stacking 2 halos!
    I came across several reviews online stating the HiddenCrown hair brand uses fake hair. My stylist mentioned that most company’s mix in synthetic hair to help connect to the weft. Do you feel your HiddenCrown halo is real remy hair? I’m really worried because I’ve invested a lot of money. I can still send back my daydream extensions. Do you have any thought on the quality and it being real verses synthetic? Thanks in advance for your help!

      Oooh that's interesting - I actually haven't heard of that! My thought is that synthetic hair wouldn't take dye with traditional hair dye if it's made of some sort of plastic fiber. In my experience, extensions tend to hold styles better after a few washes for whatever reason, too, so that may be worth a shot if you haven't yet and before opening up the new set. I personally like that I can customize the weight and length more easily with Hidden Crown. The quality of Luxy is really nice, but it always felt like a ton of hair and made my head feel much heavier than Hidden Crown. That's just a personal preference though, I like when they aren't as heavy or thick.

      @@BoldlyLauren Thanks for getting back to me! The 20” and 16” HiddenCrown is a TON of hair and heavy. It’s similar in grams to Luxy. I ordered the daydreams because like you, I wanted less weight. I bet you feel like your lugging a couple lbs when wearing your Luxy. Lol
      There is probably a pretty heavy silicon coating on the hair. Have you washed your Luxy or HiddenCrown halos? Also, did you dye either of your halos? If so, did they take the dye well?
      Sorry for all the questions. I had a stylist destroy my waist length brown hair by using improper bleaching methods. I have a sad shoulder length cut full of damaged hair I’m growing out. I literally don’t walk outside without a halo due to embarrassment. :(

      @@3100Maple I have washed and dyed the Luxy, and just washed and toned the Hidden Crown (but I am planning on dying them to match my now red hair). I do think all extensions come with a decent coating on them which makes them slippery initially.
      And yes the Luxy is WAYYY heavier than my Hidden Crown Halo! They also include additional side pieces...it's so much hair lol

    The wire is leaving a indent on my head.. will that go away?

    • @BoldlyLauren
      @BoldlyLauren  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, it should! If it's staying for a long time, you may want to recheck the placement of the wire - it could be causing additional unnecessary pressure. The other thing worth noting is that my Luxy set is heavier than my Hidden Crown set, and leaves more of an indention because of that.

    I have a halo 16 inch and 20inch. The problem I have is it fits fine on top and sides buy under neither it lifts up if touch the back or curl them. How do I keep that part down I also have a small head which sucks

      Hi! I'm sorry you're having trouble with them - I want to make sure I'm understanding correctly...the back where it sits underneath your hair is riding up? If that's the case, it sounds like the band may be a bit too tight, and that it's resting too high up on your head. I'm not sure...please feel free to send me a pic/video on Instagram and I'm happy to help you troubleshoot!

    I bought some but my hair is super thin and balding it shows that I’m wearing them

    • @BoldlyLauren
      @BoldlyLauren  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Sorry to hear that. If you DM me a pic on Instagram (boldlylauren), I may be able to help you. Teasing a little over the band is usually helpful too if your hair is on the thinner side.
