She's talking shit about dark and light skin Indians. Here in SA, we Indians don't care about skin colour as we respect all types of people, whether it's Black, Whites Coloureds. Yes, the younger generation doesn't speak the mother tongue. Our parents do speak. People like me who's in my 60's speak a bit but understand more, just like Afrikaans or Zulu, for that matter. We had no option to learn English and Afrikaans as a second language. We did not have schools for the vanackular to be taught. English, Afrikaans, Maths and Science was important in an Indian family. The most successful Indians in SA are light or brown skin. Amongst Indians you get the very fair (almost white) light or brown skin people. Yes, you do get very dark skin Indians but we accept them for who they are. I am light brown and I love my colour as lots of whites will die for the colour have and I was told so by Whites. I hope you can do more research. 🙏
