I remember listening to the radio on my Boom Box waiting for my favorite songs to come on so I can quickly record it on my blank cassette tape that i would have to keep flipping over to record....CLASSIC!! Relatable!!!
The 80’s Boom Box was classic Lol. I thought I was royalty when I scored a Sony Walkman. I remember wearing that thing one time even though the batteries were dead cuz I thought I looked so cool! 😳
I came here just over a month ago because of Sebastian. I wasn’t too sure about Pete for the first couple episodes but in the past month I’ve watched over 100 episodes and I never want to watch Sebastian solo again. How Pete can be so supportive of his friend and be ok with taking back seat is amazing. True BFFs right there!!
Pete is great. In a very recent cast Pete was talking about saying thank you to a local state senator and Sebastian said something so mean. He said Pete said it to draw attention to himself and that there could be no other reason. I'm like, how rude and wrong. How else to let a local pol know you support them. It's not like he went up to Robert DeNiro and said, "Love your work." The local pol probably doesn't get that many attaboys.
I agree with you, but I also love how they let eachother speak, but when they cut eachother off they know that if I don't say it now I'll forget. This is such a breath of fresh air, it takes me to such a happy place, and appreciating everything we didn't have back than. Love these guys, but I also love Seb, solo stand up, and appreciate his solo even more, but I love this DUO PODCAST. The part about the young hostess at the restaurant is a perfect example of the difference between us earlier gens and milennials etc.. Sebastian chalking it up to a lack of street smarts/thinking on your feet is spot on. There is no cool in these people. They make the perfect conformist, ''by the books'', consumer robots.
