You got that Rhodes program sounding good! If I hadn't saw the keyboard that it came from, I would've just thought it was a low-fi sample of a real Rhodes. Nice!

Nice man. Reminds me of when I first bought my MPC 1000 many moons ago, I would sample an old Casio keyboard that my nephew now has. Didn't make anything as elegant sounding as this though.
These old keys are great, I'm getting more when I find some.
exactly where i'm at right now. got a couple cheap yamaha keyboards in the past couple months. i recommend the ones with the synthesizer editors or faders. opens up hundreds if not thousands of other sounds. so dirty and fun. and of course some have midi to control your mpc vsts.

Nice! I like how the beat turned out. The keyboard looks similar to my first sampler, a Yamaha VSS100. Do you have a power supply for it, or are you running it on batteries?
I bought a Portasound 790 years ago, and I hated the sound of it, until I connected it to my SP. Ugh that thing makes music from anything :D - without any effects.
🤔 @mpchead I have a similar type keyboard in my attic ... thanks for that , I will definitely be adding to my MPC live setup. I have a portable crossley TT for crate digging that also has noise as opposed to studio TT. I say all that to say, you’re correct lo-fi is right next to us if we 👀 . I sick of the too clean sound of music.This is a reminder to me anyways that even with digital equipment , as opposed to analog I can make music that’s. shiftee low down dirty And grimey ((⭕️NYX‼️)) ✌🏾💯🤣😂🤣✊🏾✌🏾

Did you run the Yamaha through the SP before going into the MPC? Or that's the Yamaha sound?
I ran it through the sp when I was playing.
can i plug it direct into the mpc live and get midi or do i have to sample the sound from the sampler?
This is a very old keyboard, it has no midi
