Ren is definitely a gentleman and a good kid. Honestly, if it wasn’t a politically powerful prick like Shido who was capable of destroying him that he ran into, he probably would have been the next Yu Narukami instead of the anti-hero/borderline villain protagonist the game made him.
Let’s see... so the Phantom Thieves consist of 4 sophomores, 1 Freshman, 2 Juniors, a cat, a hacker, and a detective that is a maniac is the cognitive world. What a team!
Well… Not exactly. With their school system it would be closer to 1 sophomore, 4 Juniors, 3 seniors (including Akechi), a hacker who doesn’t go to school, and a cat.
Well, that is true that Joker was trained by an accomplished gymnast in acrobatics which allows him to attack from longer distances. Sae is right in that regard when she was interrogating him about Kasumi as one of his Confidants that helped him. Kasumi still sounds rather sweet and polite in the English version. She definitely had a crush on Joker from the very beginning, always wanting to spend time with him. But I like how she wasn't judgemental just because of the supposed criminal record.
I love Yoshizawa: She knows better than to believe the bull crap rumours involving Ren’s record, she’s practically a sweetheart, her persona is more or less elegant than Ren’s initial Persona and her screentime is just cute. I just wonder if they make an anime extension of Royal. Maybe even a tie-in to the Valentine’s Day special with Yoshizawa’s scenario; I’d definitely watch it in a heartbeat.
Kasumi is the closest thing this game will have to having a canon love interest, I mean her and Joker's phantom thief costume has similarities and their showtime attack together fits really well. SPOILER WARNING: I like her more as Sumire with her hair down and wears her glasses.
@@satyamSaha lol she's not. She has no chemistry what so ever with Joker outside of her rank 9 confidant. Sumi likes Joker through and through outside of her confidant and develops throughout the story. That being said just because someone likes you doesn't mean you have to like them back. But if there was a character that was going to be canon Kasumi would defintely be it.

Haru, I can understand since the only two appearances she made before her father's palace in the original were the fireworks festival and the Hawaii trip. Makoto, though, was a character since the very first palace.
Honestly I give him an honorary Phantom Thief title due to him managing the Phan-Site and helping provide requests. If it weren't for the Phan-Site, the Phantom Thieves never would have taken on Madarame.

Unfortunately, the man Joker stopped from assaulting a woman before April was a very powerful politician who blackmailed the only witness to the crime (the woman Joker saved) into taking his side in the argument when the police were involved, and Joker never considered recording the assault attempt to have evidence in his favor (dumb move in retrospect). Not to mention said politician was the human Big Bad of the story who if he was really spiteful could have killed Joker at the beginning of the story before he awakened Arsene and does try to kill him no less than thrice (twice with Black Mask, and once by temporarily stopping his own heart). Here, when the same thing happens to Kasumi, Joker is in a public place with several witnesses, he never puts his hands on the harasser, and he makes sure that Kasumi is someone he knows and could trust to take his side in an argument. He’s learned how to not unintentionally f**k himself over.
