Thanks for sharing all of your beautiful projects. I always enjoy seeing what you have worked on and hearing how your stitching week went. Happy stitching……………
Beautiful progress on everything. Those shoes just blow me away. I love the colors and the styles! The Tiger will be beautiful, can’t wait to see you start it. Never say never…Lol. Happy Stitching!
Lots of great stitching this week. So interesting about your Temperature Quaker. March 1 was your coldest, and it was my hottest so far this year. Northern Kentucky with 79 degrees. That's hot this time of year. I am really enjoying stitching this temperature chart.
I like the color way of Flea Market Flowers. Oh my goodness, the card Desiree made for you is lovely!!! Desiree is blessed with many talents. Remember the backpack she made, that was perfect!
That’s funny you commented about this. My friend drove us to church last Sunday, so smart me thought, I’ll x stitch like Sarah! How in the world!?!?!? I laughed out loud and had to explain to my friend.
Most of the time, it goes well. There are a few bumpy spots where I just have to wait till it smooths out to resume stitches. I also make sure to count to the new month's motif on this Quaker design at home before we leave - counting longer distances on 25 count in a moving vehicle isn't even something I'm willing to do! :P
Hi Sarah, I'm glad you did get to see some snow if only a little. We had a dusting of snow in Greater London today before it washed away. Your Chatelaine is beuatiful. I'm interested to know how you start and stop your confetti stitches in your full coverages including 40 count. I think Wow 40 count! Thanks x
I start and stop my threads on all my projects the same way - woven under the threads in the back. Most of the time, there is more than one stitch in an area with the same color, so I'll carry as far as I can to avoid having to re-anchor the thread in a sparse area (about 1-2 inches at most, which can be over 40 stitches away on 40 count!).
I'm also sad that cross stitching supplies is going out of business. Lindsey always was quick to ship my order, good prices, and so responsive when I had a question.
The shoe piece is coming along nicely! It makes me smile to think of the kids going outside at school to see the snow ... sometimes those of use who live with snow all the time forget the magic of watching snow fall.
It's so peaceful and pure - definitely a treat when you haven't seen it in over a decade! :) We did see some pretty snow in Utah about 6-7 years ago, so that was a great memory for the kids.
I bought Finery of Nature when I saw yours and it’s beautiful! I’m working on the border first. I hate 14 count Aida, but it will be beautiful when it’s done.
Boy, your needle must have been smoking! You accomplished a lot this past week. My February motif had more green in it because we were warmer in February.
I was stitching on my chatelaine while watching, which has the same kitty with a bow in her hair needle minder that you showed (I think on the finery of nature)! Loved seeing your progress and excited for your new full coverage start! 😂
Most of the time, I serge the edges of the fabric with my overlock machine. But you could use a regular zig zag stitch on a sewing machine, or even a straight stitch. I have seen some people fold over the edge and hand-baste the edges as well.
We're in north LA county, but typically, we don't get snow, so you're right! The last time we had snow stick enough for a small snowman was 12 years ago. However, there are quite a few hills and mountains down here, and those areas get snow pretty much every year, so it just depends on if you're in a hill or valley. :)

I've joined you stitching The finery of nature!! so far I am loving it!

I enjoy seeing your progress on all the patterns. The shoe one made lots of progress.

Love to see your stitching! I really like this year's temperature chart.
I am amazed that you can stitch one over one on 25 count in a moving vehicle. Wow.

Hi Sarah! Nice progress on all your projects this week! I’m going to check out the new full coverage site you mentioned! Have a great week!
I love the Chatelaine piece. I’ll have to look at her non mandala pieces.

Love your progress on your wips. Happy stitching!

Yeah, 14 count Aida isn't my favorite either, but it does make the black color easier to work on. :)

Beautiful stitching thanks for sharing
Loved watching your progress your needle was red hot lol looking forward to see what you get done next that new chart with the Tiger is gorgeous
Great video, Sarah. I really like your Temperature Quaker design. Very creative. I did your Temperature Tree in 2021, enjoyed that very much.

Your shoe piece is darling. You are a fast stitcher.
Love all of your WIPS Sarah - you are making great progress on them.
I watch Lindsi’s Channel ❤️
Take Care & Happy Stitching ❤️🤗🧵🪡🧵❤️
Those shoes 👠! Gorgeous!
Very enjoyable video as always.
One over one is rough.
How do you keep your fabric from fraying?

What part of Southern California do you live. I can't think of where might snow?
