Also, you made the connection that the purple ones are both attackers and the red are both defensive. What you missed is that the stats on the Ritual monsters are exactly double that of their smaller counterparts, including their level.
Fun fact: the boss monsters are named after the original name for the legendary sword “Kusanagi no Tsurugi” Also, For anyone considering building this deck, I suggest Lamia from BLMR, can help with getting your boss monsters to your hand and help with consistency.
Last night, when I saw these previewed in your discord, I was freaking out. I missed the line on Ame about its effect being once per turn. I was genuinely like "why in the fuck would they make this General Raiho on super steroids??! It's raigeki, and super raiho, with anti kaiju built into it!" Lucky, someone else pointed out that the negation effect was once per turn, which got me to breathe a sigh of relief. But this archetype is still totally bonkers. Lair of darkness and virus cards will definitely love these, and kaiju will hate them, since all of them have effects that trigger off being tributed Guess I need to start main decking Super Poly and Mask of Restrict when these come out, that's basically the only ways to stop them
I really love them. These designs are great and the names are all references to japanese folklore. (Kusanagi is a sacred sword for example) Definitely going to build a deck with them.
I wonder if the effects of the ritual monsters to reborn from the grave when they are tribute can be Ash blossomed? Because they add from the deck to the hand then you can special summon them
because of where the then you can is ash stops them from coming back. Though the primary ash target is definitely the ritual spell itself similar to branded fusion for branded. Once it gets something out of the deck (ritual from or the little guys to gy) its all gas.
I keep seeing Ame no Murakumo compared to Raiho. Unfortunately it's not as good. Ame no Murakumo may be an omni-negate, but is also a hard once per turn. Raiho is a mandatory continuous effect that can't be chained to. I just don't see it being as good as everyone thinks. The Ritual Spell however... That card is nuts. It's essentially Branded Fusion for Reptiles. And by Reptiles, just Ogdoadic and Ragnaraika but still.
Well, I mean if it was a Raigeki and a Raioh, y'all would be complaining about how broken it is. Only in modern YGO can someone look at a balanced card and say it's not good lol Also, a Raigeki effect is almost never bad and, in this case, you can quick effect reborn it with Bowser, after your opponent floods the board, which triggers the board wipe, effectively making it a one-sided Nib
Argostars on launch are trash, easily the worst archetype of 2024, they are on war rock level of bad, since they are slow, don´t have consistency and need the field to do something. The deck need a second wave of support, and maybe the next Maze Odion cards to at least perform decent in the rogue tier.

I did notice that and seems interesting
@gloomba3312 oooooh! I didn't notice that! Good catch, Gloomba!
It's settled then: we'll call the orange ritual monster "Bowser"
My current fun main deck is Ogdoadic/Ragnaraika, its so much fun, This is going to bring the deck to an entire new level.
A TCG exclusive with meta potential? That would be something new for a change!

The Ritual Spell is just BraFu, except you cannot Ash it

I love them too! It's great that they reference Japanese folklore.
Retiles ritual sixsams - infinite
loops?
It is still missing a broken custom card like a cicular
Maybe you could run aritama and sakitama to get king of feral imps to get your main starter from deck to hand?
I’m going to laugh if snake rain is reprinted in stampede also cue snake rain going up in price for no
Wait, I thought Mitsurugi was a character from the Soul Calibur series...
He is! It's also the name of this archetype!
I wonder if the effects of the ritual monsters to reborn from the grave when they are tribute can be Ash blossomed?

I do think so.
Seems like it

@@HIMMBelljuvo I, and everyone making the comparison, was specifically talking about the effect of forcing a discard to prevent negation
Droll is going to be an MVP counter
Hey dark armed love your channel also hope you do an Argo stars deck

The mosnter attack are to low or to high and are not fiend dont work whit virus cards
You mean to tell me that an archetype that literally has an actual Japanese name is coming to us in the west first? How ironic is that?
Cool shirt.
