I showed this to my cousin and she loved it. Her smile was the biggest I had ever seen on her. She's watched it for the 8th time on repeat and she's signing away with the song. Her singing is beautiful to watch.
Great! I take it that she is deaf and the singing is very accurate as interpretations go at least. I am trying to learn and videos like these are a gold mine for me!
I just stumbled across this video yesterday, I think it was just amazing, im not fluent in asl, but when i grow up I do want to be a deaf ed interpreter. I love the flow of each sign in the video, and the energy of EACH girl. I watch a couple times just to learn more signs myself i enjoy the language itself, though i am not deaf myself. I think u both do amazing work :)
LOVED it! Would like to see more of these. Just because we are Deaf does not mean we can't appreciate a song...It's more like poem or story, and it is ASL at its very best!!
I'm not deaf, but I am studying ASL and plan on becoming an interpreter. I was blown away with this. I thought that it was absolutely beautiful. I can't wait to see more from the two of you.
Hi! I'm an ASL Interpreter and I recently posted a status on my Facebook in regards to singing songs from Frozen, my Deaf friend commented saying she couldn't relate. I posted this video as a response and she LOVED it, as do I! FANTASTIC JOB! I don't think I could've interpreted this song that well. Keep up the great work, very inspiring! :)
Amazing!! I'm not deaf, but I'm trying SO hard to learn sign language! I'm just discovering that it's not as easy as looking something up online and stringing words together. There's a whole syntax and grammar structure I've got to learn. :P You two are BEAUTIFUL girls and I really enjoyed this video! (: Keep it up! :D
This is amazing! My 4 yo daughter is both Deaf and disabled. I sign pretty well but have struggled to get dad and sister into it... and then we found this. Her 6 yo sister LOVES Frozen. This is so amazing for our family.
This is a great cover. You guys have such emotion. I love watching the sign and the lip-syncing together. Also, such a beautiful setting. Well done. :)
This is amazing. I simply cannot describe how the deaf community is so strong and they do not give up on life. They can do anything! Im so proud of all of you. Nyle DiMarco introduced me to all of this. First from America's next top model, then with his movies and Dancing with the stars. You guys are amazing and dont let anyone tell you otherwise! So much love!
I have been soo waiting for someone to do a great ASL cover to this song...thank you for using your talents to help those of us who want to, learn and help get others interested in learning, ASL...you guys ROCK!
The children's ministry director at my church showed this to her Sunday School class a few weeks back. Her and I were wanting to show this song in ASL, and looked at other versions of this song in ASL, but none of them compared to this! You two did amazingly! Didn't know you girls were deaf until I read some of the comments!
I have been teaching deaf students for 27 years using CASE and I love to sign songs. I am confident in voice to sign but weak in sign to voice. Watching your videos over and over helps me to become better at reading signs in ASL. Thanks Ren and Keely.
Ok I wasn't going to comment, but I just can't resist!!! I have always loved sign language and I have watched lots of asl music videos and I have to say that what the two of you do is so beautiful. I am a communications minor with a specialization in sign language and I am hoping to one day be an interpreter. I could only hope to one day be able to flow with my signs as gracefully as you do. God Bless both of you!
As someone who has suffered more than half his life from arthritis (I'm 25), this video is a special reminder that I can still do things even if it is tough. Thank you so much
And... you've earned another subscriber! Great job girls! I am a teacher for students who are Deaf/hard of hearing and have a 16 year old daughter with a severe-profound hearing loss - we LOVED this!
I am just learning ASL and I am honestly having a hard time following the signs. Many of the words I know the equivalent concept sign in ASL, but you're doing something completely different that I don't even recognize. I wonder if you could provide an ASL translation to make it easier? Sorry for my ignorance.

You guys are a inspiration to ask of us. What you have is not a disability. It is a gift. It has allowed you to learn an amazing language that most of us don't have the ability to learn. Keep doing what you do. I hope to continue to learn from you two amazing people XD
I LOVE LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these ladies. You can just see they put all of themselves into this video. If I had half their energy I could run around the earth!!!!
Fantastic signing. I loved the interpretation. I was really excited when I saw the hearing aid too. It feels more authentic to know that a native user created this interpretation.
Thank you so much for making this happen! My little girl has watched it three times in a row and we had to cut her off for the night. It means so much to us.
I saw this video on tumblr, I'm not a native English speaker, so I didn't know what ASL ment, but then I realized and I really liked your video girls, I don't know sign language, I really want to learn it, but the way you do signs you really show the feelings that Idina Menzel put into her voice. I hope I can see more of your videos in the future. I loved it
I teach 3rd grade in California. I want to introduce ASL as a world language to my class next year. Thank you for these videos! I have watched many ASL videos. Some are well meaning from students of ASL, but not authentic. Your videos will give me something to share with the kids that show not only the language, but how important expression is in ASL. I hope you continue to add to your channel. I can't wait for my kids to see these awesome music videos. You have done an excellent job, going beyond an ASL video - these are truly beautiful music videos.
nakyer I don't believe she meant to say it is the same with all deaf/HOH people everywhere. By 'world language,' from an educational perspective, means a second language.
That was incredible! I'm taking ASL 1 and want to be an interpreter and honestly watching videos like these is so helpful and fun for me! I hope to be able to sign Disney songs for fun some day!
You girls are amazing and such an inspiration. My two girls are hearing impaired and love all the videos you have put together. Thank you for what you do.
This is so awesome! My ASL club at school is using your interpretation for a performance at our school! I also love your one direction interpretations! Thank you so much! :)
Lauren....I am so incredibly in awe of you & your friend! It is an honor to have worked with you these last four years and to have watched you here in school and at ICODA! Please keep making these videos! And I ditto the suggestion below for you & Keely to do songs from Wicked!
I've been learning ASL, and I love the language. and I really like watching my favorite songs being signed. and it's really cool to see signs I recognize and learn new ones! Thanks for making these videos!
Wow! That was beautiful! The girls did a great and whoever did the fiming and editing also was right on! I can't wait to see the movie and more of your work. BRAVO!
Beautiful. I love watching Sign along with the spoken words. A very special form of physical art combined with song. A language I am still working hard to learn.
First of all, I LOVE IT! My daughter interprets music on a regular basis (we'd love the feedback from some super-talented hearing impaired folks btw) and I'd like to address some of the comments I'm reading here. 1: Chill out with what they are wearing and how the camera angles are. It's a piece of art. I agree, if you are standing if front of the President and interpreting, wear all black and don't move your lips. Outside of that, who cares! 2: Emily lip syncs when she signs music. She finds it easier for the audience to connect to. She feels she is bringing a part of a beautiful language to those who might not ordinarily come in contact with it. She also interprets with SEE rather than ASL for the same reason. It was confusing because of the different structure and people didn't understand. 3: It's an INTERPRETATION not a TRANSLATION. 4: I bet if you tried to do this it wouldn't be as beautiful. Rant over. :)
Whoa. that was very impressive work!! I liked how you interpreted the song to make it more related to the real world problems. It really made me feel...connected. As a deaf person, I find it hard to fit in and I've been finding myself not caring anymore. My family used to make me hide, like I couldn't sign in public or whatever. But now, I've decided to screw them. If they can't accept me the way I am...then I don't need them. Disowned.
Absolutely love it! Please keep them coming! I listen to songs in the car a lot and try interpreting them, but find them so hard because they use a lot of metaphors. You girls did it beautiful!
That was absolutely fantastic! My girlfriend LOVES the movie AND this song. Thank you for the awesome video AND signing. I'm not deaf, but I have moderate hearing loss and I've learned how to sign (4 levels worth so far) and have been signing on and off for I wanna say around 3 years...maybe a little less, so yea, signing definitely helps me with communication. Point is i know how to sign, just rusty at it and I'm always very intrigued and inspired by this kinda thing.
I wish I new more of Brazilian Sign Language to do a Cover, but I'm only on my first semester, but I promise to start doing it by the end, because dear god this was perfecting the already perfect.
I have hearing loss, so I have hearing aids. I see that you guys do too. when I saw this, I got SO excited. A few weeks ago, I started learning ASL. I am SO excited. I want to see more of your videos. :D
i started learning asl, and i fell in love with it. working at a zoo, and being able to use it helps during the off school season, watch youtube videos is great too! i get to learn the concepts behind the sings, instead of a translation! thanks girls!
Since I last saw you last year with D-Pan, you two have really grown to be inspiring singers! Keep on going and I look forward to many more videos! this so far is my favorite video :-)
LOVE LOVE!! I am a self taught ASL learner and my 11 year old and I have been doing it together. i took 1 semester in college and fell in love, would love to become an interpreter. I have taught myself songs and this is my goal to learn this one!! AMAZING JOB!!
Wonderful! I was excited! I am Japanese deaf, and I learn about ASL now. I will make this movie a reference. I think that your sing is True (American) Sign Language Sing! Thank you for making this sing!
This is beautiful and gave me goosebumps. (: I love EVERYTHING about this. I'm currently trying to learn ASL, and happened upon this... It's just wonderful. (:
This is an amazing video. You're so good at capturing the emotion of the song in your expressions and signs. I'm not sure what type of music you enjoy, but I highly recommend you do some more theatrical songs like this one. I definitely love your other videos, but you really shine in this one. Do you like Wicked? Especially since there are two of you, you could really have some fun with What is this Feeling, For Good, and Defying Gravity.

Nice duet girls! Beautiful signing! Fluent in asl I'm guessing judging from how good your girls are

my little one thinks this video is beautiful. it's because of this video she wants to learn sign language so she can be like the two of you.
May our dreams come true! I sure hope so!

Your words are truly inspiring! Our goal was to share this language the way it should, and to reach a wider audience. Good luck next year :)
ASL isn't a world language. There are MANY other sign languages used by Deaf people in other parts of the world.
nakyer I don't believe she meant to say it is the same with all deaf/HOH people everywhere. By 'world language,' from an educational perspective, means a second language.
I like that.
PS muting this thread, so Happy New Year!
I have watched this so many times....and keep coming back to watch it again. So well done!!
This is soooooo cool!!! Love it, and thank you for doing it!

This was so cute! You guys looked like you had so much fun (& cold!!). Thanks for using your snow day to do this and help us!! I loved it!
Wow! This almost has a magnetic draw that says, "Watch Me"! Beautiful song, songs and girls!
I've been learning ASL, and I love the language. and I really like watching my favorite songs being signed. and it's really cool to see signs I recognize and learn new ones! Thanks for making these videos!
That was gorgeous. I kind of felt like the signing made the song even more powerful.
You both are beautiful. I loved seeing the snowy outdoors in an open space. Well planned and great connection between you two!
I love this! My deaf Kindergarteners are obsessed with the video and they are going to be thrilled to see it signed by you two! GREAT JOB!
This is an applause. You girls are simply amazing. Keep going!
I'm from sweden and I use the swedish signlanguage, it is amazing to see you guys sign the song! Amazing!
Wow! That was beautiful! The girls did a great and whoever did the fiming and editing also was right on! I can't wait to see the movie and more of your work. BRAVO!
Your interpretation was beautifully done, ladies -- thank you!!
THANK YOU FOR POSTING THIS!!!! This song is my life and I have been hard of hearing all my life and I just related with Sign.
I loved the movie Frozen! I was eager to find a ASL version of this song. I am glad to have found this video. Beautifully signed. Instant Subscribe!
Amazing! It brought me to tears, it goes to show that anyone can sing no matter what!
Beautiful. I love watching Sign along with the spoken words. A very special form of physical art combined with song. A language I am still working hard to learn.
I'm hearing and don't know ASL, but this still brought tears to my eyes. Absolutely beautiful.
The most perfect thing I have seen done in ASL. Or at least one of the most perfect haha Love it!!!

Beautiful! Absolutely hypnotizing. I watch this over and over and over. Thank you for sharing this with the world!
That was phenominal. Got chills ladies. Great job!
Thank you so much for this video. I am Brazilian and I could learn ASL sign for Storm, let it go, and cold through this video.
Beautiful! I loved the field of snow, you really captured the emotions of the song, and the ending is perfect!

I never knew that sign language can be so beautiful and artistic! :)

You both are amazing! I could watch this over n over n over again

Anyone can singe beautifully with their voice. You girls singe beautifully with your whole selves.
you guys are so beautiful! i love the idea and your expressive signing
Beautiful. Amazing. Awesome. Loved it!!!
That was wonderful!!! I love the ASL interpretations!
My favourite part of this is the fact that I don't know any American signlanguage, so it just looks like an interpretive dance. :D
It’s been six years. Have you learned any yet?
LOOOOVED this! You ladies did an amazing job! And you're both so beautiful. :-) Two of my favorite things: Frozen and sign language. ;-)
i really love how you used "change" for Going Back, this is a really awesome video.
That was awesome thank you for opening up a new generation for little girls and boys with frozen let it go
LOVE LOVE!! I am a self taught ASL learner and my 11 year old and I have been doing it together. i took 1 semester in college and fell in love, would love to become an interpreter. I have taught myself songs and this is my goal to learn this one!! AMAZING JOB!!

I second that. :)
