বাংলাদেশ এর market যদি আমাদের টালীগঞ্জ এর ছবি গুলোর জন্য খুলে দেওয়া হয়, তাহলে আর্থিক ভাবে বাংলা সিনেমার ধীরে ধীরে ঘুরে দাড়ানো সম্ভব বলে আমার ধারণা। জনসংখ্যার নিরিখে পশ্চিমবঙ্গ অসম বাংলাদেশ ত্রিপুরা মিলিয়ে প্রায় 25 কোটি বাংলাভাষী দর্শক হয়। পুরো দক্ষিণ ভারতের দ্বিগুন। তবুও এক একটি তেলেগু ছবি প্রায় 100 কোটি টাকার ব্যবসা করে, আর আমাদের এখানে 5 কোটি টাকা তোলা মানেই সেই ছবি বিশাল হিট। হিসেব টা কোথাও মেলেনা।

Disclaimer: I'm not a Srijit lover. ;) Srijit originally thought of Vidya Balan in the original Rajkahini too which somehow didn't materialise as because of many financial reason, the producer have to make a cost cutting on the actual proposed budget of the movie, which resulted many compromises on the making. Not being able to cast Vidya for the bengali film was one of the result. Rituparna Sengupta came on board after that. So when Srijit got the chance to make it in Hindi language for Mumbai Film Industry, he naturally thought of Vidya Balan for it which probably matched with Bhatt's idea.
In 7:29 when you talk about "..intelligent use of resource.." (1) you mention something about "reverse" -- what exactly was that? can you please tell us more about it (2) and when you talk about title cut on goopy gyne gyne bagah byne title cut and compare it with "catch me if you can" I am assuming you are trying to point out how the entire movie was presented in a title in a gist, but many other films before Ray's GGBB did that, for example "Around the world in 80 days" (1956) -- so.... I think I missed your point...what was it that you were trying to say?
