Cameron Highlands is a district in Pahang, Malaysia, occupying an area of 712.18 square kilometres (274.97 sq mi) . It is located 1200-2000 meters above sea level and offers a respite from the heat in its cool climate . The highlands were founded by a British colonialist named Sir William Cameron and were named after him, and were modeled on a traditional English village.
Cameron Highlands is a popular tourist destination with its lush landscapes reminiscent of the English countryside, sweeping tea plantations, hiking trails, and a touch of colonial nostalgia. There are many things to do in Cameron Highlands, such as visiting the Boh Tea Plantation, harvesting your own fresh strawberries, revisiting history at Time Tunnel Museum, smelling the roses at Mrs. Robertson’s Rose Garden, visiting the Sam Poh Temple, having a taste of the lavender ice cream at Cameron Lavender Garden, enjoying your afternoon tea at Jim Thompson Tea Room, enjoying the butterflies at the Cameron Highland Butterfly Farm, touring the Sri Thendayuthapani Swami Temple, visiting the night market, shopping at Cameron Square, exploring the mossy forest, relaxing at Lata Iskandar Waterfall, visiting a bee farm, playing golf at Sultan Ahmad Shah Golf Club, checking out Cactus Valley, admiring history at the Mah Meri Art Gallery, exploring the Orang Asli Native Villages, and enjoying a steamboat dinner.

Never been to cameron highlands for the past 10 yrs.things hv changed a lot.those days accomodations were not many n limited in choices.now it hs changed tremendously.will visit again soonest.😂
