May is Celiac awareness month, so here’s a tip for my fellow Celiacs! Those toaster bags are PERFECT for us to use to keep our foods free of cross-contamination in shared toasters. I’ve had them for years and they are a game changer! Traveling and have a complimentary breakfast at your hotel? Pack these bags to toast your gluten free bagel or bread safely! Enjoy!
I have a different brand on the cutter. Instead of a keyhole, it has a magnet. And I LOVE the thing. I use it to open and trim everything. It's great at Christmas for cutting my wrapping paper. You control how deep it cuts by how firm you press. Barely any pressure is needed for most things. But clamshell packaging, needs quite a bit more pressure - but slices right through it!! I lost my first one - so bought a bunch more. One on the fridge, one by the computer, and gave away the rest. The brand I have was much cheaper than the Slice, but I don't see it on Amazon right now to even tell you which brand it was. But even at the Slice price - it's a great investment. Handy little tool!
FINALLY! That light bulb has been on my wish list for YEARS! I'm the frugal weirdo in my home and can't seem to get anyone else on board with energy saving. Plus when I'm cleaning and constantly going into one room then another all over the house I hate turning lights off when I know I'm coming back but also hate wasting energy to leave them all on, even if they're LED. Thank you for showing me they finally exist!
If you get some grape or tiny tomatoes in that plastic container with the hole on top and the colored bottom..... you can use that container to tip your bottles to get the last drop. I also use it to allow washed bottles to completely dry upside down. If you can't get the perfect balance you can allow what is draining to rest against your backsplash. I keep a couple of these in the cupboard for exactly those purposes. Love your show @TheValueGuy .
The shoe organizer is also a game changer for people with a lot of electronic devices. When not in use, put the device, cables, power bricks, remotes, batteries, game controllers etc into a sleeve. Label with masking tape & Sharpie. I used to be a mobile game developer and we'd use these to keep all our test phones and accessories organized.
I agree. I seem to have shoe organisers in every room of my home- and not one of them is used for shoes! The one on the back of the bathroom door houses makeup and hair products. I cut one in half, attached some cords in the middle, and have this hanging over the two sides of my fridge. There I can store permanent markers (to write on freezer bags), magnets, food coupons, emergency medical numbers, etc. These 'shoe' organisers are so handy.
@@dianedo8314 There are two different types - with a handle like this one, and there's one without. I have the one with the handle and think it works great. I have not had a problem with rusting as I hand wash it and dry right away. Terrific deal for a dollar!

After watching the Costco video I went & bought the Woozoo fan you recommended. It's a beast. My husband loves it. We plan on picking up a few more. Its footprint is small, it's almost silent and the air it circulates is incredible. Not only does it oscillate side to side but also up & down. And it has a remote control! Thank you for the suggestion, otherwise I might not have ever paid it any mind.
Love all the products from this video Matt. Especially the bottle top contraption the gets every drop out of the bottles. You and your wife are soo cute...you have a beautiful family. Can't wait to see the next video. Thank you for your dedication and commitment to bringing these wonderful reviews...you're awesome😄😄😄👏👏👏👏👏
I use the shoe organizer in bathroom closet to put headache medications, bandaids and antibacterial cream, scissors, thermometer, stomach meds, first aid products, vitamins etc.
I have had the splatter screen for 29 years and the small cutter for over 10 !! My mom showed me the screen when I was young. The cutter I used when I used to open CD cases.. it was fabulous… because you can never open those
it is totally impossible to be grumpy when I'm watching your videos. You're just so thrilled about sharing your finds, even if it's just stuff that solves "first world problems." (Thanks for acknowledging that!) Can you do a video about products that help people to be more environmentally conscious? Reusable silicone bags, mesh produce bags, composters, etc.?
I love these kind of videos, lots of innovate products I didn't think I needed. I was pretty disapponted by flip it though, it's literally and upside down stand. Something with suction is essential to getting every drop out of most bottles.
Shoe organizers are great for craft supplies! My kids have tons of pens, pencils, crayons, markers, scissors, glue sticks etc. We also use them for Barbie/doll storage
We have an over the door shoe holder on our pantry door in the kitchen & store stuff like aluminum foil, Parchment paper rolls, seasoning packets, other small kitchen supplies & quick grab stuff like tape & measuring tape. Basically moving a junk drawer to the back of the door. Congrats on the upcoming move!
For almost empty bottles of liquid, I've always just grabbed a large plastic cup and left the upside down bottle inside it. You really only need to do this for the last few uses. Some shower caddies have a hole(s) in the top rack so you can leave a bottle of shampoo or whatever upside down.
I use an old, empty cardboard box (eg a 1l milk carton). When I'm done with that product, it goes straight into the recycling. I love using cardboard boxes for loads of temporary storage. You can cut everything to the exact size you need and try it out for a while before deciding on some permanent containers.
Regarding item #10: Every artist needs dozens of these. If you have an artist on your Christmas list, give him/her a set of these. We are forever having multiple bottles, tubes, etc. that need to be completely emptied of expensive art materials. GREAT idea!!
Matt, shopping 🐿🐿 everywhere need your help!! A Deal Guy video on how to go from A to Z when trying to smart shop for items you know nothing about, would be SO helpful. Window blinds, backyard fire pits, kitchen cabinet paints etc. Knowing nothing about variety, quality or pricing how would you go about getting info without getting lost in all the products out there? Would help new homeowners for sure! 😉
I have a slightly different gadget for the last drops. It's a small heavy rubber funnel and you put the almost empty bottle in the top (upside down) and put the funnel in the replacement bottle. It allows the top bottle to completely empty. You have to make sure they're balanced so they don't fall over, but it does prevent waste.
Love your videos! I have 4 of the door shoe bags. One for shoes, one in the laundry room for "junk drawer" stuff, one with small crafting supplies, and one on my pantry door for small items that either get lost or clutter the pantry shelves. That and over the door hangers are lifesavers!
I love these videos. They’re so helpful. But oh man, the way this guy talks about his wife and daughter. What a guy, what a gem! Quality content twice over.
You can go to the Dollar Tree and get a shoe organizer for $1.00. Your Rubbermaid clear shoe boxes is a much neater version. Plus you can use those clear boxes for many things ( closet accessories storage, food pantry, toys, hair accessories, ... ).
I was thinking the same thing, and then thought about apartment dwellers with limited space. Also, the boxes are more durable than the hanging shoe organizer. The shoe organizer and splatter screen have been around for decades. To prevent splatters, I use cooking vessels that are a lot deeper than a skillet. I bake bacon in the oven. It comes out perfect every time without flipping.
I got the same splatter screen at Dollar Tree! Also they have those gold wire baskets in a few different sizes & shapes- so not octagonal like the one from Amazon, but only a dollar!
I enjoy your peppy, positive approach! The item from Amazon under $15 bucks, is the bottle holder so one can obtain the full amount from the bottle. Additionally, the bottle will be easier to clean out to effectively recycle the item!
Instead of a junk drawer i have a junk door. I hang the shoe organizer in my hall closet and put all kinds of knick nacks in it. My kids use one in their door, too, to organize their stuff...legos, toys, office supplies, flashlights, leashes, batteries...
Nothing wrong with those gadgets that help you empty your bottles. Some stuff like liquid bath soap is very thick and clings to the sides of the bottles. I have actually cut mine in half (maybe I’ll get the cutter thingy for that) and scraped the sides down with a spatula. You’d be surprised at how much is left in the bottles!
Hi! I already own that same pan grease topper. Works like a charm. 👏👏 I also bought the Drop Stop for my car from one of your other videos. I drive a lot for my job. Love, love 😍 them!
Just when I decided I was getting out of control and deleted the 184 items on my Amazon Wish List, I watched your video. Now I only have ten items lol. Great video!
I don't know if you get the same notifications from your wish list as I do from my save for later cart, but I prefer the save for later cart because I get told if there is price changes on anything on my list, higher or lower. Whenever I log on, I just go to my cart & it will say if there are any changes.
@@thatgirlfromdabronx9198 Yes! Wish list items also include price fluctuations. I do both wish lists & save for later cart holds. I keep wish lists for the far-off (maybe) future purchases and cart holds are for the 'I'm getting these next payday' items lol.
Love your videos! Especially Amazon must haves and that bottle emptying tool is a game changer for me because I’m that person who has to get every last drop out of every bottle! 🙌❤️
Love the toaster bags, I have been using them for about 20 years. They last for a long time before needing to be replaced. I've been buying them in England. Nice to know that I can finally buy them here.
I love my slice thing from Amazon have had it for two years now. It's soooooo helpful I keep it on the fridge and use it almost every day. I gotta get one for my keys now!
I recieved a flip-it asa gift from my supervisor two years ago. It is fantastic!! Loved it so much I bought them for all the guests who came to my house for Christmas dinner that year. I love the water bottle idea for my daughter. She is always drinking water. Thank you for all your videos.
Not only are your videos informative & helpful, I love how you get right to the point and your delivery is a breath of fresh air! Love your sense of humor! Your wife is a lucky lady! New subscriber here! Thank you for doing all the leg work for us! Congrats on your new home!
I purchased that exact splatter screen 2 weeks ago...I love it and use it just about every day. I highly recommend it. 👍👍👍👍👍😁 I had a cheeper one that rusted out and the screen broke away and this is a much better quality that will definitely last for many years. Well worth it!
Dollar tree sells mesh screen pan covers too🤗 The thing I like the most about the ones at the dollar tree is They are cheap enough that I can just Throw it away when the grease gets sticky and hard to get off
I have the same spatter screen and like the size, which fits skillets as well as pots. I actually put two screens on when I'm cooking something that will spatter grease, as a single one allows very fine droplets through that put a film in the stovetop.
Just an FYI, you can get splatter guards at the Dollar Tree too. Not to take away from the more sturdy one you presented. I love the bottle toppers though; that’s genius!
was going to comment the same. wondering if there's anything that im missing that makes the more sturdy one worth $10 vs just getting the dollar tree one
@@peggyw5279 They have two versions-one with a top knob, which most say are junky, and one with a handle that for some reason is much better. I own one and can confirm it doesn't rust, but it is somewhat flimsy and the mesh isn't superfine, but for $1 it just works.
So I bought the bottle flip set to get every last drop years ago and thought I was nuts but love it! Surprising really what is left that we throw away!
Got to get the car cup holder! I am also a first timer watcher, I came across your videos today for the first time! Lots of good gadgets, thank you for sharing,
Yay!! A new video always makes my day AND makes me want to buy every product. You do such a great job of balancing super helpful products with finding them at great prices. Thank you for what you do! 😊
I was excited about the bottle emptying tool. I’m not frugal BUT large Purell bottles that leave a lot of product behind drives me crazy! The shipping however is $4.59. Undecided
Thanks, Matt! With your links, I ordered the sink cleaner, cable clips, and splatter screen. I already use the Flip Its for bottles and they are FANTASTIC! No more wasting expensive shampoo and liquid hand soap! ♥
FYI, you were using the splatter guard upside down. The metal wires are feet so you can sit it on the counter without dripping mess from the other side (kinda).
Those toaster bags are the peacekeeping device for multi-diet kitchens. And after they've passed the stage of being usable for sandwiches, personal-size bags of nachos, and pastries, they make great cheese wrap for open blocks of cheese.
took me a while to find a splatter screen but found them at a Dollar Tree Store with a few different sizes, they are an old product idea that has come back, thank goodness~
This is the first time I've ever watched one of your videos. I love the self-deprecating humor, the useful products, and how you show both the Amazon screenshot and you putting it into use. New subscriber for sure. Looking forward to your future videos. We just switched from Costco to Sam's Club so I'm excited to see you cover Sam's.
That bottle emptying tool is one of those things that make me think, “ why didn’t I think of that?”. I don’t care if I spent $10 or $1, I’m using everything in that bottle 😂
The product that I will order is the hopes sink cleaner sounds like a great idea. I’m always trying to figure out how to get my Corian back to its good showing. Thank you for that information and God bless you and your family
I have been needing the 128 ounce bottle for a while. You saved me! Ordered. thanks much. Keep up the great work.I also bought the other product which is my fruit bowl! Literally bought it last week.
Hi Matt, In regards to the “Flip it empty bottle kit” I love it, I use it in my bathroom for my shampoos, and in my kitchen for my dish soap bottle. I bought mine from local thrift shop for a fraction of Amazon’s website. But you are right, (bet you don’t hear that often😆) it is a great gadget.
Oh lord TY! i have been needing the cable clip organizer for ages. I'm definitely ordering this because I've been using my pen with the clip on the side so my hone cable doesn't fall on the floor Good luc at our new place! Stay safe!
CONGRATULATIONS to the Granite family on the purchase of a home! I had to resubscribe to your channel. I have no idea if youtube did that or my little one, but I'm going to try and find out. That water bottle could have been handy about 10 years ago when I used to drink 1 to 2 gallons of water daily and it was such a major struggle I quit after 8 months! Confession today: I barely get half a gallon a day. I know, it's horrible, but this just opened up an opportunity to get motivated and consider 1 gallon of water daily.
I use the shoe organizer to organize my kids lunches I can put their fruit cup drink pouch chips and snack in one pocket then just let them chose a pocket in the morning
I've tried a greese splatter screen in the past. I do not recommend them for frying with oil or bacon because they do trap the moisture causing the greese to pop. Spatter as you described they work. For frying someone could make this product with an adjustable gap riser for the steam, it might work. I recommend using a large wok and put your exhaust fan on high for oil fryinh. See my bake bacon comment. Clean the area with windex everytime you fry. Great grease cutter.
I love the shoe organizer, i have and old one that has to be secured to the door and is bulky. Have an old house that has very small closets - will definately try this one - Thanks!
I love my splatter screen. But when you put it on the pot/skillet, put it screen side down. When you take it off, you flip it so the feet go on the counter. This way you are not getting food from the skillet on your counter.

Yah, splatter shields have been around forever, and they are available everywhere (like Dollar Tree, as others have mentioned).
The Dollar Tree ones will rust in no time and are pretty flimsy. It’s worth it to spend a little more.
@@peggyw5279 They have two versions-one with a top knob, which most say are junky, and one with a handle that for some reason is much better. I own one and can confirm it doesn't rust, but it is somewhat flimsy and the mesh isn't superfine, but for $1 it just works.
LOVED IT! The fruit bowl really made me laugh and the bottle flipper things to get all the contents. I really liked the applicance cleaner!!!
So I bought the bottle flip set to get every last drop years ago and thought I was nuts but love it! Surprising really what is left that we throw away!
For decades I’ve thought I needed this, but I’m not an inventor. 😔
Especially lotion bottles!
@@debfiel6585 B and B works soap!!
Got to get the car cup holder!
I am also a first timer watcher, I came across your videos today for the first time! Lots of good gadgets, thank you for sharing,
I bought my splatter screen at Dollar Tree. I'm going to get those reusable bags
Great products! I already have the sensor bulb, the coupon cutter, the clip thing, the bottle emptier, the shoe organizer
Yay!! A new video always makes my day AND makes me want to buy every product. You do such a great job of balancing super helpful products with finding them at great prices. Thank you for what you do! 😊
Glad you liked it Christine! Thanks for being here!
You are a winner dude...
I was excited about the bottle emptying tool. I’m not frugal BUT large Purell bottles that leave a lot of product behind drives me crazy! The shipping however is $4.59. Undecided
I might need the Flip It. The fruit bowl is nice. I approve of your wife's rose gold motif
Thanks, Matt! With your links, I ordered the sink cleaner, cable clips, and splatter screen. I already use the Flip Its for bottles and they are FANTASTIC! No more wasting expensive shampoo and liquid hand soap! ♥
I absolutely need the light bulb, ceramic cutter, bottle caps and ok... today I want everything on the list.😂
Me too!
Can we just make one giant Matt's best picks order to Amazon???
But how do I get them with Matt getting the credit?
@@4Redhead39 just click on his Amazon link in the video description.
Great tip!! Ty
took me a while to find a splatter screen but found them at a Dollar Tree Store with a few different sizes, they are an old product idea that has come back, thank goodness~
I have had the water bottle for 4 months and I love it.
Great testimonial...ty
This is the first time I've ever watched one of your videos. I love the self-deprecating humor, the useful products, and how you show both the Amazon screenshot and you putting it into use. New subscriber for sure. Looking forward to your future videos. We just switched from Costco to Sam's Club so I'm excited to see you cover Sam's.
That bottle emptying tool is one of those things that make me think, “ why didn’t I think of that?”. I don’t care if I spent $10 or $1, I’m using everything in that bottle 😂
it looks pretty legit.....beats my "add water and shake" method
They suck and left a mess with any product I used them on.
Me too, this is such a terrific item....cause l want every last bit in that bottle!!😊😊😊
I bought 2 packages. Leaked at first try but I didn't use the included paper stoppers. I'm not giving up. Great idea.
I love them!
The product that I will order is the hopes sink cleaner sounds like a great idea. I’m always trying to figure out how to get my Corian back to its good showing. Thank you for that information and God bless you and your family
I really enjoy all the things you show us. You are a great guy!
Thanks Pam!
I have been needing the 128 ounce bottle for a while. You saved me! Ordered. thanks much. Keep up the great work.I also bought the other product which is my fruit bowl! Literally bought it last week.
Good Luck in your new home. Your rental place I have to say has awesome views.
Thank you for sharing the great items. I may have to get that key ring slicer. I am always looking for scissors lol
I highly recommend it.
Oh lord TY! i have been needing the cable clip organizer for ages. I'm definitely ordering this because I've been using my pen with the clip on the side so my hone cable doesn't fall on the floor Good luc at our new place! Stay safe!
I have the bottle emptying tool kit and I love it!
Those oven pouches are gonna be in my Amazon basket for sure. I don't enjoy the cleanup after a meal. Thanks Matt.
You're so much fun! 😊 Thank you for brightening my day!
I'd love even more apartment friendly content! Typically those that own can also benefit from this content, but not the other way around.
I agree with you 1000%.
I've seen the splatter screen at Dollar Tree. This can also be used for an earring holder! 😊👍
How can you leave that incredible view!
The cup holder would actually be a great Father’s Day gift!
You can get a splatter screen for $1 at the Dollar Tree!
Yessss!!
Yup
I use the hanging shoe organizer for storing my paper punches - great solution for crafters!
I use the shoe organizer to organize my kids lunches I can put their fruit cup drink pouch chips and snack in one pocket then just let them chose a pocket in the morning
That is an amazing idea thanks !!
Love your enthusiasm!
I appreciate you doing all the research you do to provide us with the best information! Great job!
Congrats on the new home! I love this channel
I was going to say this as well. The feet on this one makes it a step (😂) above the dollar store ones.
