First of all I want to thank the actor who played Mark for the delivery of his lines. That was fantastic and much more appropriate than anything I've seen before. Now for Michael Levesque who played Collins; all of the choices you made as an actor were absolutely immaculate and all of the choices you made as a singer were completely appropriate. Everything that is Collins' is poured out in that scene and I definitely think nay I KNOW that you emptied out Tom Collins' heart and soul in your performance. I'll Cover You (Reprise) is one of my favorite numbers from any show; I've seen it done dozens of times in vastly different ways, but you moved me and I know for a fact that you moved everyone in that audience. Jonathan Larson and Jesse L Martin would be completely proud of this performance. Bravo.
Okay, I think everyone here knows how good the guy playing Collins was, but I'd like to take a second to point out another smaller, but also amazing performance by the actor playing Mark. His line delivery at the beginning of this video during Angel's eulogy may have been the most emotional delivery of those lines I have ever heard... That long pause, and grief filled voice by Mark's actor from 1:11 to 1:30 almost made me start tearing up. Now THAT is how you deliver those lines!

I about lost it when angel stood there the whole time until she saw that Collins had all those people there to support him, in a way I took it as he's going to be alright with out me, and was at peace and left. Dude, I got chills all over my body! I mean, damn! You're the second person that made me feel Collin's pain (and I saw/heard lots of versions), the first one was Jesse L. Martin. You're an amazing actor and have an unbelievable voice, congratulations!
I honestly got a kick out of seeing Collins played by a white guy! Haha, I am a big fan of casting against type since pretty much every major production of RENT always cast black actors as Collins, Benny, and Joanne. Hell, give me an Asian or Native American Collins! If they are good at playing the part, thats all I need to hear!
