We had to get a roof at the beginning of 2023, it was $15k for almost 2,000 sq, ft. home, but we only had to pay $5k due to our home owners insurance covering most of it as it was apparently weather related which we didn't know. Whoever you get an estimate from ask about if any is covered under insurance. Our goal is to get out of debt which should happen by summer next year.

These are great goals! My first goal is to totally finish paying off my car loan by October (about $4,000 left). I will fully fund my ROTH because my advisor takes 1/12 each month right out of my account, and I'm happy that'll be fully funded again. It eats up a lot of my $, though, but I am still hoping to finish 2 large challenges, the $2,025 and then another one that's ~$900 for about every Friday of the year. Which means an additional $3,000 saved for some future thing. Which I should know the purpose of, but we're not there yet. At least part of it will be for traveling, though. I am very proud of all that you've done this year, and I cannot wait to see what 2025 brings for you!
