Mark and Ritchie, Your dad gave me a full set of the Say no to Drugs cards in a numbered binder a short time after they came out. A short time later I was offered $1200 for my binder but Maurice and your whole family meant too much to me to sell it. I still have all my cards in my binder. I am blessed to have known Maurice and Trish as well as all of you children. And I'm thankful that I was able to visit with Maurice after your Mother passed. He also gave me an autographed copy of the book he wrote. And thanks to all of you for keeping their memories alive through these videos. Wilton King (Racing Radios)
Y'all are so blessed that your grandfather had the foresight to save all this rich history! We, as fans, are grateful for you sharing it with us! You have some amazing cards there for sure. See Y'all next time!
As a nascar trading card collector, I truly appreciate the stories behind some of these harder to find sets. I do have a 1972 STP card of Buddy Baker, I do not yet have any of the 1989 Winners Circle cards. Thank you for all the great content that you provide.
I have a lot of those cards. Because this was during my time at Petty Enterprises. Myself and other members of the crew were given these. I have mine put up in a safe place, but now y’all got me curious as to which cards I actually have. I’m gonna have to go pull the out and see.
I have all but 2 of the Food Lion cards still sealed, of which I need to see if I can find. I also have a set that is in a package that looks like Richard's Plymouth from Traks
The coolest collectibles I have is the Petty Charger pillow.and the hauler and race car. Also the Petty van with Richard Petty action figure which I won in a nascar contest
We stopped by the museum on a Sunday and needless to say it was locked up and no one was around. I did grab a small rock out of the parking lot and have it in my “hot rod” (BMW M3) as a reminder of the Kings career. Just like people bring home rocks from Jerusalem, I brought one home from Level Cross.
I have wanted to know for years why that in 1971 the second team car was changed to number 11 and it was painted white. Do you have any idea why they didn’t keep it number 40 Petty blue, and why they painted it white instead of blue
Also I have lug nuts from a race Richard Petty ran in 1991 that are in a Ziplock bag and was autographed by him. If I wanted to get an autograph from you fellows is there anyway to?
Hey guys, I just saw your video on the 1989 Winners Circle cards. I used to have the Lee Petty no NASCAR card. I sent it to PSA to have it graded. On on its way back to me the USPS lost it. I have been looking for another copy for the last few years and have not found one. I search for it on eBay every day. Would you please consider selling me one of those cards? I would gladly pay whatever price you guys put on that card. It would be the centerpiece of my collection and mean so much to me.
