- Did your friend send you a weird message and you want to catch him Chris Hansen style? Well, using this plugin you can see any deleted or edited discord messages. Want to figure out who keeps ghost pinging you? You can find out the second it happens.
PLEASE NOTE: This plugin and BetterDiscord setup breaks Discord's TOS and there is a high-risk of being banned with this plugin. Use this plugin with caution or use it on an alt account (mind you, using a VPN would be best).

This is amazing for server owners and mods. They can see deleted messages and edited messages when they would normally be deleted. They can set it to only be a server they are owner/admin/mod in.
or you can simply get logger bot with just an invite
Owners and admins with perms can already see deleted/edited messages through bots.
yes bots are an option but with this nobody knows you have it

You can pretend to just always be monitoring instead. But yeah, this only works while you're online so message logger is better anyway.

What confuses me here is... How is it legal for mods to see deleted messages with their bots then? Like how is that "ok" in the eyes of the law, or privacy. To me it sounds like exactly the same thing.

The difference is that Discord Owner and Mods are like the Government.
You using this to view erased/edited messages is like going through someone’s Browser History.
And at the end of the day, It should be legal and not banned.
because if they say something against there server rules and they delete it they have a way of showing evidence why else smart ass

this logger is great specifically for those who harass you and then edit their messages to make it look like bad, a shame i didnt knew this existed before, i could have used this as a proof againts certain scums that harassed me
for me it shows only xeno and it says could not complete see for details how to fix (it doesnt automatically donwload and i have to seperately download the plugins again)
I use betterdiscord for 1 year, nothing occured, but my pc is a potato so my discord is lagging, but discord don't will ban you because you use a ''mod'' to modificate your discord, they won't do this, but if you download a theme/plugin from other website, you will be banned.
Yeah this feature can be abused. But if you do own do the server or are a mod, there’s 99% logs channels with bots that basically do the same.

Audit logs allow you to see that messages were deleted, yes but not the messages said person deleted

How easy is this to detect and is it detectable when you only use it in dms? Plus how are they even able to detect it?

When i enable message logger it says i must download those 2 plugins manually so i do but then the zerespluginlibrary doesnt work so i cant do it any fixes or might it be because i have another library plugin?

IP bans generally aren't all that serious. As you can always change your IP or let your router go down and get a new IP address. If Discord really wanted it to make it hard for someone to create a new Discord account for their main PC Then they would find a way to log your Hardware Serial numbers and ban them that way so basically you can't even download or use Discord on the web

its in base app already, to relatively delete messages faster, just press left shift and the delete popup will show so you dont need to click the 3 dots.

this doesn't work for me, I think it might be outdated. the extra file it makes u download is now having to be manually downloaded but after that the script doesn't work and it doesn't show up in plugins
