    The humility of someone like Gilbert Arenas....when you know, when you've realized that someone has taken what you started, and mastered it, is when you not only admit it but you defend them when someone tries to call them out because they're not there to defend themselves...yea...I'm just in awe of what Gilbert was suppose to be, how humble he is now, he's the truest athlete I've seen in a long time...you know your time is up, and you had that nature in you, but you pay respects when you see it in someone else...Kobe saw it too and said this dude is scary and not many see why, why he's REALLY scary..it's not just the shooting, it's the way he is when he plays and while he shoots, he can shimmy after a make and then right back into that glare of focus, and he's seldom rattled....I'd love to get into shape again and play against this guy

      I understand what you're tryin to say but I don't think Arenas is humble at all. Think about it. When someone shoots a 3 and he turns around knowing its going in, isn't really a sign of humility. It's in you FACE! I'm sure there's been other players that have shot similar shots b4 G Arenas.

      Steph Curry shooting a shot, then turning around to run up court is good and bad. It's bad because when he misses the Warriors are caught with a 4 on 5,but it's cool because he is ahead, ready for an outlet pass for a fast break.

    People only focus on his shooting. Point is, curry is an amazing finisher, defender and on top of it all, an incredible team player. His game IQ is crazy high and he always manages to lead his team to victory, even when he is not shooting threes all the time. He does that through screening, and since he is a real threat, he always draws a lot of defense to him, which opens up space for his teamates. Right now he is the best player in the league by far, and because he is such a COMPLETE player, I believe that he deserves to be part of the GOAT conversation.

One year we were a 3 seed i believe with a good squad and Davidson was a 15 seed. I heard of curry a lil throughout the year and definitely during march madness, so i was excited that my team had the chance to beat him. His Davidson squad played my badgers and curry went for over 30 and BLEW the badgers out. I just remember NEVER seeing or hearing about someone who could shoot like he did. The shots he took even in college, guys werent doing and he was making damn near half of them. Was my favorite player ever since. Became a fan (not my #1 team, clearly the bucks were) of golden state when i saw them in the playoffs and beat the grit n grind grizzlies being a "jump shooting team". They were just fun to watch and no one expected a team like that to actually win it all or dominate like they have but here we are lol No one will be like curry ever again.

Imagine if they had a rival that they faced off against in all those finals? Would’ve been even more epic than it already was. Just makes you appreciate the greatness that was the Cavs vs Warriors finals so many times in a row. I wish the Cavs were fully healthy in 2015 and the Warriors were the same in 2016 and 2019. @@ThisisPhe born and raised in Indiana and I decided to start following the Warriors because I wanted to follow the NBA and I had never even heard of that team but thought they had a cool name 🤣. Especially the Golden State part haha. That year we made the playoffs and it happened to be the We Believe year. We beat the Mavs and Baron Davis became my first favorite player. After that, I had loyalty and was not happy when we chose to keep Curry over Monte lol.
      I also did read that Monte was kind of a douche about the whole situation and didn't like playing with Curry.

    to this day I don't understand why KD left the Dubs? After what he just said about Steph. I remember when he reinjured his achilles tendon in the Finals vs Toronto. Steph was right there w/his arm around KD comforting him. Steph truly cared for KD. It wasn't FAKE. Steph wasn't hurt because now that KD isn't going play and they're going to lose. Steph was hurt because he was feeling for KD, like a brother and that was his main concern.

    Great video brotha. It's sad that only now the media is giving him the respect he has long deserved. I think many confused his selfless choice for taking the backseat to KD as Steph needing KD to win Chips. Fact is, the Warriors had a better record when KD sat and Steph played than when Steph sat out and KD was the go to. If he wasn't out half of last season, they would have been a 1st or second seed team in the west.

  • @greyklopstock7155
    @greyklopstock7155 ปีที่แล้ว

    I'm so happy as a warriors fan that my favorite player is on my favorite team. Cause I love everything about Steph. He's exactly the kind of thing I love. When a guy is an anomaly at a skill to the point that EVERYONE has to try to emulate him just to keep up. Like, nowadays, if your bigs can't shoot, they're flat out offensive liabilities at this point. Which is crazy. He was unanimous MVP, and within the next two years, all the bugs like boogie, brook Lopez, Al Horford, Karl Anthony towns, Anthony Davis all started shooting threes. Like, you look at the numbers, and 2016 on, guys who maybe averaged 1 attempt a game started shooting 3, 4, 5 threes a game.
    That's what is crazy to me. Also, I love what Gilbert said when it was argued Steph needed to hit the no look game winners. We were beating teams so bad that Steph never really needed to hit a game winner for like, five years straight. Having seen Steph do it in person, you would SWEAR that everything he shoots is going in. Like, it's a surprise to the whole arena when he misses

      So I actually became a massive Steph fan back in 2012 and he has been my favorite PLAYER to watch like bar none…I mean not even gonna lie he made it boring for me to watch anyone else’s highlights lol but i don’t think he was the best until around that 2014-2015 season now I could argue he’s been just as good or better than anyone in the league since then but that’s what 6 years since he was hurt for one of them so yeah while I do think 9 years is a bit of a stretch idk if there’s anyone I’d rather have on my team more than Steph Curry because he just…when Curry hits a 3 it FEELS like it’s worth more than when anyone else hits one…the way he can just pour it on out of the blue is just insane I mean the guy literally has been winning like 15-20 games a year IN THREE QUARTERS for awhile now lol nooooobody else can do that and while I do think Currys passing is underrated I don’t think he’s the best passer in the league by any stretch but he is definitely the best PLAYMAKER and a lot of it is because he doesn’t even need to touch to ball to create wiiiiiide open shots for teammates I’ve never seen anything like it man the guy is just a nightmare with andddd without the ball like usually the game plan vs great players is take the ball out of his hands he can’t hurt you if he doesn’t have the ball but Steph can and does hurt you even when he doesn’t have the ball I mean when Kd was on the team you still heard top tier hall of fame coaches saying KD is amazing everyone knows that but Steph Curry is what makes me lose sleep at night game planning for that guy he’s what makes the engine run…so yeah man as crazy as it sounds I think Curry is still underrated
