@@nickbrooks2408 Same here, I grow up watching Bron, He's that idol that made me loved basketball and despite all the hate he's getting, I'll follow his career all day. That being said, I hate people who just spout utter nonsense and hatred about other players, people would slander MJ's name, Calling Kobe overrated, make fun of Curry and calling him out of being not a top 10. I get it, we all have different opinions but those kind of opinions are the ones to keep to themselves. I mean, those players are remarkable in their own, given us all the entertainment and joy we all need, made us fall in love into basketball. Give them credit for all they've done. And I agree on what you've said, those who call players are trolls who themselves are just being petty.

We have LITERAL VIDEO EVIDENCE of the very opposite of this happening. There is video of MJ and Steve Kerr sitting on the bench and MJ does not say "I'm shooting this shot IDGAF what happens". What actually happened is Steve Kerr told MJ that if his guy comes off he'll be ready to hit the shot. And that's exactly what happened in the game, Kerr's defender came off, MJ passed him the ball, and Kerr hit the game winning shot.
While on the other hand, after game 4 of the 2015 second round playoffs against the Bulls, there is video of LeBron James claiming that he changed the original play that his coach drew up, and he DEMANDED that he get the ball for the final shot no matter what happens.
So in reality, it is actually LeBron James who says "idgaf what happens I'm shooting the shot" while we have evidence ON VIDEO of Jordan actually being the one who goes "if your man flinches, I'm gonna beem the ball to my teammate for the shot"

i don’t know why people hate this man so much. he really is so similar to jordan and people hate to see the comparison. but when you look at stats and look at footage of this man, you cannot deny he is among the greatest to ever do it. day in and day out he’s constantly working on his game and getting better at things he’s already great at. the fact of the matter is, he’s a generational talent. people say he doesn’t have the same mentality as jordan and i can agree. but that doesn’t mean lebron thinks any less of the game then jordan did. lebron comes to the game with the power to be able to make everyone play better while playing some of the best basketball you’ve ever seen. that’s never really been done before until just recent years. and jordan never really focused on those two things at once. just saying the way he can get others involved and play at the elite level he does has never happened before and i think once he’s done, we’ll truly be able to tell how great he was

Lebron is fuel by confidence and tries to infuse that in others. But when his teammates let him down people think he throws them under the bus. Jordan wasn't the greatest person to be around. LeBron on the other hand is probably the cleanest and most conscientious athlete to come around since Muhammad Ali and Kareem Abdul Jabbar. LeBron helps the poor, his community, opens schools and is just generally a good dude. I don't understand the hate at all. Jordan in the other hand is all about himself, never political, and no one has anything good to say about the man.

He is a basketball savant. He is the evolution of basketball. He's a mixture of many of the greats. He has Magic's playmaking, Isiah's passing, Larry's shooting, Jordan's athleticism, Penny's court vision, and plays defense as intelligently and as fierce as Rodman and Artest. He plays the game the right way and works the way champions work. I am not the biggest LeBron fan, but I appreciate what he puts into the game, how he plays the game, and what he does for the game. And, on top of that, he's a quality human being. I will never understand the hate this man receives. Yes, his free throw percentage could use work, but I feel like that's God's way of making it somewhat fair for the rest of the league. Also not sure why the comparison to Jordan when they were two completely different players and LeBron's game has always mirrored Magic and Penny. When its all said and done, he will go down as one of the greatest to ever play. Salute. Thanks, Nick, for doing this video. Love the series!

    • @brianjoyner3340

He is hated first because he proclaimed himself as the best player in the world then lost that year. Second because he is being compared to Jordan. He is definitely one of the greats though. Third is because he is being called the goat. Every era has its greats but to be considered the goat, I believe that with all that talent and basketball IQ you have to win the big show. Only one player is undefeated in the big show. Being "the king" you need the crown. As good as he is, the will to win is something that is lacking. He is going to break all types of personal records though.

    • @whodat787
      @whodat787 2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Lol wow....
Ok first of all, saying that he has Magic's playmaking, Isiah's passing, and Penny's court vision is all redundant. I know that you were trying to make your list of players that you were comparing him to longer, but those 3 things are basically the same thing lol.
Second, he DOES NOT play defense as fiercely as Dennis Rodman. Defense and rebounding was basically all Rodman could do, and he was so great at it that he won 2 DPOYs and got into the Hall of Fame based on defense alone. We literally have video evidence of LeBron James' lackluster defense the past few years.
Third, it's like @Brian Joyner said above me, the reason he is hated is because he has proclaimed himself the "best player in the world" MULTIPLE TIMES on camera. Not only that, but he has also tried to proclaim himself the "Greatest of all time" which he is not. I have NEVER heard Michael Jordan call himself the "Greatest of all time", even tho he is. That is also the reason why he gets compared to MJ. Don't proclaim yourself to be the "GOAT" if you do not want to be compared to the true "GOAT". A LOT of the hate LeBron James receives he brings it on himself

@@theanonymouslegion4811 nothing ignorant about it. The mindset of this era is not the same. Playing with and building a winning team and executing your objectives are different in today's game. Everyone ego too high. It's about money more than competition. These players rather play with each other opposed to against each other. Really there are only similarities because they play the same sport. But there is no real comparison. Different era different reasons for the game. Excuses. It's a selfish league nowadays. It's not ignorant it's observation. But instead of name calling you should be comfortable with a disagreement without insults. Isn't the game about winning. 4 for 10 not bad. But if we "compare" then it's about attempts instead of makes. 100% better than 40%. This generation ok with attempts. You work hard to get it than you take it and let them figure out how to take it back. This generation ok with just trying and put excuses where harder work should be.

@@brianjoyner3340 I’ll never understand the criticism for LeBron and his finals losses. It doesn’t make sense because by the logic of that argument, 4-0 is better than 4-6. When we talk about finals losses, we ignore the losses that have happened prior to making the finals. Jordan has made it to the finals six times and has won all six times, but what about the times he lost before the finals? Basically what I’m trying to say is with that criticism, it’s as if it’s better to lose before the finals than during the finals which makes no sense. Maybe I’m missing something, if so, help me understand.

The media also hypes up LeBron like crazy all on Twitter, and all on the internet, and all over TV. Do you just close your eyes whenever you see people hyping up LeBron and that's why you think he only gets hate? Nice strawman 👍🤣🤣
And I'm sick and tired of this LIE about LeBron being able to guard all positions. If that were true, then why didn't LeBron take it upon himself to guard Dirk in the 2011 finals so that his superteam wouldn't get embarrassed the way they did?? And why couldn't LeBron stop Roy Hibbert in the 2013 ECF when Hibbert turned into Hakeem Olajuwon and was cooking that ENTIRE Miami Heat team?? Guarding all positions and guarding all positions WELL are two different things. He can guard all positions the same way that Steph Curry can guard all positions, which is NOT well.
And who is the 7 footer you are referring to as being so great? Because I have NO IDEA who it is in this era that you are trying to hype up like that. NOBODY in this era is as GREAT as the 7 footers MJ went up against back in the 90s kid. Shaq, Hakeem Olajuwon, and David Robinson ALL are better than ANY 7 footer that is playing in today's small ball era 😂.
And I assume you are referring to Stephen Curry as the "baby faced assassin"? 🤣🤣🤣 kid, MJ would DESTROY Steph Curry if he played him in his prime. How has Steph been doing these past couple years when he didn't have his superteams?? Oh that's right, NO PLAYOFF APPEARANCES!! So don't try to hype up the players in this era to try to make your daddy Bron seem greater than he actually is.

HE is great the goat in our generation he can do everything on the court the best way to describe him is that he is the greatest complete player ever in the NBA history. He can play in every position effectively and have all the skills strength and all the things you need to play basketball. We are not in others generations but I have never seen a guy like him in the NBA history maybe JORDAN can do too if he was in our generations but we don't know that cause the deep threes and the way the game evolve into this because of Stephen Curry long range threes and shooting skills he have the way they play today is almost different but not much and this is where we see that Lebron greatness even in this age and years he have been through his skills never drop or lower down he is still standing tall he always have a way to increase his skills in his carrier and become better and better even the deep threes he can master that too look at him right now he is getting better in shooting from deep and all the other skills needed to play the game of NBA he have it all with powerful force and strength along with IQ and skills everything he have it all maybe a little different behaviour then Jordan the way they treat the trash talking's and lower in championships cause our generations is in a whole different era, he is great and perfect for the NBA.

My depiction of Lebron is He is the type of player that we’ll put faith in his teammates but we’ll do it his self if he needs to to win not matter what

🤦🏿‍♂️ ok, these comments are getting ridiculous now. The 2011 NBA finals, was that him putting faith in his teammates? Or was that him "doing it himself no matter what"? Because he definitely needed to win that, and failed 🤣🤣.
Dang man, it's like I know more about LeBron James than his own fanboys do 🤦🏿‍♂️💀

@@whodat787 Him putting his faith in his teammates. Mavs ran a zone the entire series and forced his teammates to make jump shots. Heat didn't have shooters. Teams tried that after and it didn't work because the Heat had shooters. Stop being a casual.

@@whodat787 he’s won 4 rings since that game you just referenced and you’re still talking about it get a fucking life dude he’s won 4 titles you’re the one who sounds like a clown talking about something that happened over a decade ago as if it’s still relevant now because it’s the only small period of his career you can point too where you can say he played bad and you’d be right, but ever since that game he’s proven that he’s one of the best players in the history of the league and you’re still here talking about the mavs series get over it dawg😂😂🤡🤡

When people stop talking about GOAT conversations and arguing about this and that, Lebron has one of the greatest body of work and careers. Going to finish with the most points, win 4 championships on 3 different teams, just amazing. He can't claim GOAT, but he's definitely GOTE, greatest of this era.
