Planned on being in On Nut area but chose Bang Chak, next stop down. My bldg is 50 ft from BTS walkway on Sukhumvit so I am paying more than most of the area but still a deal. Easy walk to On Nut for shopping, cinema, etc. Best part is catching the BTS even during rush hour is not a problem since it isnt completely full by time it gets to us. If I was boarding in Ekkamai, you might wait two or more trains. Not the best spot if you going to Asok or Siam every day but a good alternative. You got a good deal for your area. Enjoy your vlogs, learning new things and areas I would not go otherwise.
I lived in On Nut for a year on Soi 77 next door to the Big C. It sounds like you have a good spot. Close enough, yet far enough it's a little more mellow.
Great info on a great area. I stay at soi 23 Asoke and 4 trips over 10 years for dental i had no idea these places were close and worth a visit. What an incredible place Bangkok is. I stay at the Taipan in soi 23 for around $70 a night.. pool spa. Sauna. Big rooms. Great food.
That is one of the best locations for being close to lots of things going on as well as the BTS, there is a hotel right at that busy intersection called Sukhumvit Suites and it is a real dump, avoid that, but there is a restaurant right there off Sukhumvit on the first floor that is really good and open late every night, that I recommend
Sawadee Kra! At around 21.35min, I definitely liked that 3 to 4 story apartment building. When I was living at the Philippines there was an earthquake. Surreal experience walking down 22 flights of stairs in the dark. Kha Phun Ka, for sharing the 411. Mabuhay
Nice Onsen on 16 near the Column, I enjoyed it there. Just a little more difficult to get back to the BTS than all the places that are directly off Sukhumvit. Looks of good choices anywhere along the BTS, I’ve gone out as far as Kheha, the Robinson’s Mall there isn’t bad with a nice condo complex right beside it. If you don’t need the bars and expensive shopping, OnNut is right at a nice mall and Lotus too.
That's what I thought. But, I see these smaller convoys all over town. Even at my building. It must be a cousin or another VIP. The Royal Family convoy is 10 times larger.

Bangkok is a great city. Yes, just across the street from Soi 23.
Greetings from Chicago! We’re expecting sub zero degree weather during the next couple of days. I enjoyed your walking tour.
Thanks for watching Scott
Thanks Joe. This is clearly, the best city in the world.
It's a great city. I hope you guys are having fun
@@EagerExpat having fun but very ready to get back to Bangkok. Staying in riverside a while this time.

Running down 22 flights doesn't sound fun

So many places for a nice condo. BKK has it all
The Lake Avenue condos are large 90 sq m and up, 35-50,000 but nice, built in 1986. Still only $1000-1500 USD.
That building is perfect if you enjoy the park
That convoy is Royal Family..
Maybe so. But it must be a distant cousin. I saw the Kings mom one time. Maybe a 15 car convoy.
Are there alot of mosquitoes when you are out and about?
It's not too bad. They don't bother me
They are one of royal family.

Prototype for the new apartments
Thanks for watching. Was I searching for a word? Maybe model-home, I was trying to remember
Its the pollution that puts me off its a shame really .
It can be a problem. But, even in the country it's bad when they burn. That makes it's way down to BKK too.
