The time wasn't put back on when Nigel Owens asked it to be, so it was running 5 seconds late. When it displayed 79:57, it was really 80:02. The confusion seems to be whether Owens was asking for 5 seconds to be added to the game time, or 5 seconds to the clock. It was the latter.
