I think a bag has three prices- the price it costs, the price you’re willing to pay for it and the price you think it’s worth once the honeymoon period has well and truly worn off. The hope is always for the first two to be the same and for the last one to never happen. If you’ve paid that money for those bags and the honeymoon isn’t over then you’ve bought the right bags. I’ve had expensive bags where I’ve regretted getting caught in the hype pretty quickly and had to take a loss. But I also have expensive bags that still bring a smile to my face years later. Here’s hoping I get better at figuring out which is which before I buy them 😂
I recently just purchased an Arty Capucine …I LOVE IT. I look at it as a piece of art. I researched the artist, her work, and i already love LV. I paid a little over 11k and it will never leave my collection. I treat it like my art collection and it will get used for special occasions. Zero regrets.
The most gorgeous and unique bag collection on TH-cam without question! That first sequin mini is just stunning. I wouldn’t have been able to leave it in the store either!

The speedy is so amazing. I am obsessed with it. It’s a total vibe and there’s just something so cool about it. I love that they did it in the speedy since it’s an iconic style for LV. It’s absolute perfection.
Love all of these! They are real stunners especially the ones with the stitching and sequins. I think that makes them worth the higher price point if it’s something you adore and makes you happy. The only one I struggled with was the LV leather Speedy. I like it. I really do! Especially that red and the green. But even in leather, it’s just a plain leather Speedy. I just can’t justify £8k for that. But again, it’s worth what you’re willing to pay. ❤
I am not a Birkin owner, BUT I think you were wise to purchase your Birkin the way you did. Your spend level/history in Hermes would have been far greater than what you paid for your Birkin; I don't have a Birkin because I REFUSE to be manipulated by a retailer. Here in the US, on the resell market, you will pay in the $20,000 range for a Birkin...not happening! LOL! I would be terrified to carry it! Love your channel; u always make me laugh 😂

I have a spending history with Hermes (3 pairs of shoes, makeup, multiple wallets, 2 belts, 3 scarves and twillies...) but my SA (in my home state) is not good so after waiting over a year for any offer I just switched to a great SA in Las Vegas so fingers crossed. But I bought my first Birkin preloved and paid close to what you did. Was it worth it for me? YES! If I'm eventually offered one, then great!

The prices are not bad compared to Canadian. I just bought a small lady Dior in leather & it was $8900 Cdn. I’m pretty sure the leather speedy is $12.5k Cdn plus 13% tax.
I love your Birkin because of the colour and the blue horse. I wouldn’t want one in a beige or black. I think they’re less appealing. My favourite of your bags is the sequinned jungle animal one. That is stunningly beautiful and I think it’s worth every penny. 🐯👍🏽

I think your birkin wasn’t that horribly priced. The reality is if you did the prespend you would have likely spent more money overall, had a bunch of stuff you didn’t want, and the odds of you getting exactly what you want would be slim. The Birkin purchase possibly could have worked out cheaper going 2nd hand than through a store. Console yourself with that thought 😂. Yes you could have sold all the bait and clawed some money back but you could also have done a lot of purchasing for a colour that wasn’t quite what you wanted.
My sister bought an aspinal bag and I asked her how much it was. She said £550. I replied ‘ oh that’s cheap’ 🤣😂 because we spend £2000 plus on handbags, our brains are now conditioned to think it’s normal 😅. But who cares?! It’s our money it makes us happy - and so for all of those reasons it really is worth it 🥳🥳🥳

As for your beautiful Birkin, yes, you paid well over the Boutique retail, but ... considering you put all your "pre-spend" toward the purse of your dreams, you probably spent about the same amount. See, I can do "logic" too! 😆

The Birkin purchase possibly could have worked out cheaper going 2nd hand than through a store. Console yourself with that thought 😂. Yes you could have sold all the bait and clawed some money back but you could also have done a lot of purchasing for a colour that wasn’t quite what you wanted.

I replied ‘ oh that’s cheap’ 🤣😂 because we spend £2000 plus on handbags, our brains are now conditioned to think it’s normal 😅. But who cares?!
