We live in a very mountainous area of north central Washington state and a 4WD is a must. A CVT transmission simply won’t hold up for the work we’ll be doing with it. Our side X side is a Honda because it has a geared transmission instead of the CVT. That 300CC is just for flat landers. It’d be fun down by the Wenatchee or Columbia Rivers, but it simply wouldn’t work for us around our property for work. If it’d do at least 35mph, then it can be made street legal in our area, which would be great for getting into town and back for our mail. (We live 5 miles from town).
For that price it should have four wheel drive. A fair price for it with it being only two wheel drive in my opinion would be right around $4,500 dollars.
That price is too close to the cost of an entry level 420 rancher or a pioneer 500 with rollover protection and four wheel drive. I agree $5k would be the absolute limit for me.
Hi Joe, great video. I think it high but everything is high now days. I might get one but no cup holder… forget it 😂😂😂 have a great weekend. Donald and Lisa
@garyc4983 I can buy a 4 seat jeep wrangler with less than 100k miles for 7k on FB marketplace is all I'm saying. Then I have something with more power. 4wd, street legal, etc.
Great video . I wouldn't compare it to a true SxS , no bed . I do see it being used like you said for someone on a small property or grandparents for when the grandkids come to visit . I agree , i think 4 wheelers are being replaced by S xS just because of their versatility. I haven't used my 20 yr old Honda Rancher in over a year since i have a Polaris Ranger .
Thanks man! Yeah, I think atv’s are gonna go extinct which is sad. I love a good trail ride. But they are $10k and a great aide by side is the same money. Hard to justify. Appreciate you watching
I sure would like to drive one of those mini trucks. Not sure I would fit in it; but they look so cool! And given the drivetrain will prob last forever. Thanks for watching!
Yeah KEI trucks from Japan might be 25-30+ years old, but you can find them from a few thousand to 10k plus. Also some were imported before side by sides were a thing as an option for a utility vehicle in LHD instead of the standard Japanese RHD(still not street legal in most places, although some areas allow ATVs on low volume roads, so these would be allowed as a recreational vehicle, check your area). And there are places importing ones that are under 25 years old but you will pay about 20k on average, as they had to do some kind of compliance or certification to bring them here and have a legal title.
Looks pretty awesome but seems the price is a bit high. I see a medium size 200cc jeep out there (Vitacci GR-9 200) for $3k. This 300cc definitely looks larger and more robust but probably not worth over double the price to me. Maybe ~ $5k value but that would probably still be a bit pricey for me personally given other options out there. Maybe if it was 4 wheel drive
If it proves itself able to hold up and remain as reliable as the higher priced Japanese UTV's it would be about right on the price...maybe a little high since it's not 4wd. Until it proves reliability over the long-haul, I would be leery of spending that much money for one. The original 125cc offering was priced in the "play toy" range but $7k is in the serious expectations category.
Hello from San Antonio, TX! Just wondering if you have had any chance to test on maximum speed ... that would give us a better picture of the power of this fun machine.
Their website has it listed for $6495. I’m not sure how much the shipping would cost. I really like it but couldn’t bring myself to pay that much for it. I think around $5200 tops. O/W I’d double that and get a nice side by side with 4x4, cup holders, and it could be serviced locally. And has options of adding many accessories.
I understand the appeal because it looks like a jeep but, for that price point I would expect 4x4 as a minimum. There are plenty of 4x4 side by sides out there within that price range that include a roof, doors and a small cargo bed that has more than double the carrying capacity of what this has. Most of them also have automatic transmissions.
glad to hear that you told them to think about doing a manual one i still think it need 4x4 and look like i was right about the price would to see driving of it off Rod if possible thanks q
I personally think that the motor is way under rated, there are so many scenarios that you can find yourself in that the 300cc isn't going to be enough i.e towing. That being said Massimo could have at least made several power banks optional, 300cc in my opinion would be the smallest offering. For that price of $7k not only should it have cup holders but a tow package already included. JMHO Thanks for the great video 👍🏻God Bless
If you could buiild an enclosure you can always get a cozy cab heater kit from JD. I have one in my 2305 tractor and I push snow in a sweatshirt down to -10f and my cab is not very air tight.
I like it but I have enough stuff at least that is what I tell myself. I guessed 5.999. I would buy over a used jeep unless I needed a car. There is a different fun that comes from these vehicles. I know when I get in my sxs my mood changes. 😊
@@JoeTheFarmer I personally think it’s cool! I have a Tao rhino 250 atv and know that even with a smaller displacement, this Jeep can still be extremely fun and capable!
@@JoeTheFarmer I have to disagree with you there Joe, that’s how you break in any engine with rings. You want to run the entire rpm range and load conditions. You certainly don’t want let it idle for a tank of fuel or some of the other advice you read in the comment section . With that being said I’m sure you ran it hard enough to give it a good break in.
I think the price is not right. For $6-$7k it's a ripoff. Compare the size and price of ''name brand'' machines and your looking at 450cc to 650cc 4x4 ATV and UTV price but less usability. Add another $1k and you got a Mule or Gator 6x6. Since these aren't what most would call "name brand" and are not really made for anything but light trail riding, they should be priced similar to wholesale motorsport equipment. I'd love one of these for my property in the boonies and for in town putting around, not for more than what i can get a Brute Force for that goes faster and hauls more. Here in AZ these are 100% street legal and you can get plates for highway use so they are almost there. They need a bigger gas tank and radiator, 4x4 and plate mount before they're worth the current price point. If they set these properly they'd be worth me dropping my card on the counter.
I get it. It just depends one what you want. This will be really cool in a neighborhood or a small piece of property. Def not a real Jeep; but prob more reliable! Lol. Thanks for watching
PRICE: Is fine as there are people who WILL buy it. Those who complain about price because they want one but can't convince their MOM to buy one for them. 😅
I get it; price is always sensitive. The market will tell if its worth it or not. The mini jeep sold like crazy, but lots of folks thought it was overpriced. Just depends how bad people want something.
For 6500$ id buy a actual old real jeep. A beater hunting jeep bare bones some thing street and road legal . Old forestry vehicle some thing similar That's just my opinion for that price
Only a couple thousand less than the Tboss 550. Which is an insane value for what you get. My guess is this is for a Jeep lover. Or someone that already has equipment and wants something fun. Thanks for watching Eric, appreciate your support!
At that size, price and NOT road legal.. You might as well by a REAL Jeep that will do way more and cost less.. It is NOT worth getting. A REAL Jeep is the way to go. A Jeep is a small 4X4 as it is.. I think it is useless. The MINI Jeep is good for kids to have fun and can be put in the back of your pickup and taken to a park for the kids to play.. This is just NOT useable.
@joethefarmer whats massimos warranty and customer service like for these machines? I hope its better than #bighorn! Bighorn support is garbage and @tsc is worthless in getting anything resolved. The back of the bed should be at least a foot longer. So you can put a full size cooler.
Last video I said $5799 so I think they're a little high
Thanks for following up on my 5-gallon bucket question
Absolutely. I still think they will go down. But gotta start somewhere I guess. Nice little machine!
Nice review. Great looking mini Jeep but the price is very high. $4,500 to $5,000 would be reasonable
Thanks for the kind words! And the feedback. We shall see!
Looks like fun 👍
When they come out with the mini pond boat, you'll be able to tow it!
That would be amazing!!

I enjoy the mini 125 but this is too much money. Price is too close to getting a real used jeep.
Thats fair. Not cheap at all
Its still a whole lot cheaper then a bare bones EZGO gas Golf Cart............ 4 seat golf will run you 9885.00 cash out the door right now.

@kaldwellkyler I wouldn’t blame you at all man. It’s all about what you want. This will be great for neighborhoods or smaller properties
My dad has bought used cars for like a few grand less then that thing
This is super cool but as others have commented, for 7k (what massimo is showing) I'll dig up a real jeep.
Hey Joe. That price seems about right. It’s a pretty unique machine that will attract a pretty unique buyer. Definitely looks fun!
it is fun man! Come to TN and take it for a ride!!!
Great video Joe! Love seeing new equipment! Looking at the Mahindra Roxor, are you familiar with this?
Hey! I am. Awesome looking machine. Would love to test one out one day! Thanks for watching

And compare to a Japanese Minitruck. The $7k price point is probably correct since it doesn’t have 4WD, Differential lock & A/C. Tim in Oneida

Hello from San Antonio, TX!
Just wondering if you have had any chance to test on maximum speed ... that would give us a better picture of the power of this fun machine.
Hey! Not yet. It's quick, but still not gonna blast it until it's first oil change. If you are on flat ground, it will go faster than you need it to.

Thanks for the video. It looks like a lot of fun but that's the problem, It falls in more of a toy category than a true utility vehicle.

The MIDIjeep? By Massimo, in collaboration with AVID?
Lol; right!

You have a great sxs!!! Your 760 would run circles around it
Since a cforce 500 ATV from Cfmoto is $6200, I’d day this is a bit on the high side. Maybe $5,000 mark for a machine with a 300cc motor.
The specs won’t sell it. Someone that wants the “jeep” look would prob be the buyer
@@JoeTheFarmer I personally think it’s cool! I have a Tao rhino 250 atv and know that even with a smaller displacement, this Jeep can still be extremely fun and capable!
@toughitaliankid Oh for sure! Its not gonna tow a yacht but its got plenty of power to have fun.
4999 is a fair price,,
Should be no more than 4K for 6k you can get Honda and Kawasaki ATV nowadays, that has double the power and reliability
Fair enough. 👍🏼
I have a Kawasaki 4 wheeler 750 V twin ingen
When can you do a top speed?
I got it to 30mph pretty quick. Not sure It needs to go much faster. At least not with me in it!
5000 out the door would be ok , not sure about Massimo reliability
Been running many massimo machines and enjoying them. No issues on quality!
Price seems a bit high. As a homeowner in a suburb, not too many uses for it. But little cheaper & I'm sure I'd find a use!
I think you hit the nail on the head!
I felt the 125cc was over priced, I feel the $6 k price for the larger keep in to much when you can buy a used Suzuki samurai for that price.
Fair enough. But this is prob for someone that really wants a Jeep.
I wish it were an option to buy the shell and put your own engine etc in it 3k.
Totally get it. Duramax swap!!
How is it on like a in the mountains? Going up and down the hills
Its ok; not gonna break any land speed records. Its a really nice light duty machine. If you have work to do, better get a real deal sxs.
Can't get a 4 wheeler for that price,think it's reasonable
Yeah; a nice quad is pushing $10k. Thanks for watching!
you break a motor in hard not gently. your trying to seat the rings good. and do your first oil change at ten hours. you ll be mint.
