Another fun podcast. You 2 are so lucky to live close to each other, have a love of beautiful yarn and can have fun knitting twin sweaters. Now I can enjoy watching Nancy’s version
I'm still blown away on how lucky I was able to connect with Nancy and be so close! She's just so awesome! Thank you so much for watching! and happy knitting! 🥰❤

Aw thank you so much for watching! so glad you enjoyed. It was so fun to record. The zelda sock was fun to knit up! i just hope I can knit the second one soon! 🥰
This was such a blast! Felt like I was hanging out with a couple of kindred spirits. Love your Orbits sweaters… they are both jaw-dropping GORGEOUS! Really trying to envision spring and summer but tonight it is -21°C here in Calgary. Thanks for a great episode Nancy and Sophie ❤
Your podcast was very delightful and so informative. I’m an inexperienced knitter and really appreciate the tricks and tips y’all gave. Please do this do podcast format again.
I feel like I'm learning something on every project I do! So I'm so glad that you enjoyed and liked the tips! Nancy and I already agreed that recording together was so much fun and that we need to do it again soon! Thank you for watching and happy knitting!!🥰🧶
Such a fun episode! Both your Orbits are gorgeous 😍 Sophie, your Lento is stunning! And I have not yet knit a Musselburgh hat either 😂 Looking forward to seeing all your summer knits! Oh and I frequently dream about natural disasters as well 🤣 Happy Making 💕
Oh sorry you have those dreams too Nikki! but phew glad I'm not alone on that LOL. I want to cast on all the summer knits 😂Thanks for tuning in my friend! 🥰💖
Oh! I wish we still lived in NS! We would be closer & could come knit with you girls!!! This episode was so much fun. ‘Brain fart’ 😂😂😂 I never heard that expression & now I’m going to use it. I love it! Also, those Zelda socks are epic! Beautiful jumpers. A big hug from the Yukon. ❤
Aw thank you so much for watching Loretta! It was a blast recording it. we laughed the whole time 😂😂. And Brain farts happen to me regularly! 😂😂 So glad you enjoyed! ❤🧶
So loved this podcast. I was laughing out loud 🤣 😂. I also got some great summer knit ideas from you both. Hard to believe summer is right around the corner.
Oh yay!! Im so glad you enjoyed! It was so much fun recording 😂. Yes summer is just around the corner! I find winter just flew by over here! Thank you so much for watching!! ❤
Nancy is full of helpful tips and tricks! I'm totally going to try to do the same on my next garment too! Thank you so much for watching and happy knitting! ❤
How fun to see the two of you together😊 Sophie, your lento is spectacular! I also think about knitting at work waaaaayyyyy more than I should! 😂😂 wonderful episode as always! ❤
Hi to you both, finally got the time to watch your Podcasting with Nancy. Beautiful projects and looking forward to seeing you again soon. A new subscriber too ❤❤❤
Don't be sad about ur sweater being over sized my friend. I WILL TAKE IT. 😹 My husband seen those socks and said Zelda same time u did. Cracked me up. Lol. Love u sweet girl, always a great pod cast.
Ohh I looove that pattern! Congrats on finishing it! Hope you had a great time at your knit group. Knitting friends are just the best!💖 thank you so much for watching and happy knitting! 🥰🧶
You guys had me in stitches! Loved this, wish I could've joined in...now that would've been something else lol! So much fun & Love your LENTO!! hugs xoxo
This was so much fun! I couldn't help smiling for the entire episode and also for Nancy's half on her channel!) I haven't knit a Ranunculus or a Lento, but I did recently cast on a Musselburgh hat for the dentist's waiting room. I have knit a couple of Rachel Illsley's more recent designs and the sleeves are further back in them, so I think that might be what has recently been updated in Orbits (I would have to check that to be sure though). I'm definitely going to knit this one soon though! I'm so glad to have found your channel and look forward to your next episode. Shelly x
So glad you enjoyed watching! Rachels pattern are all so beautiful! I know she had done an update on the orbits for the short rows at the neck. Some had thought there were too many. I cant wait to cast on her Sculpt. But that will have to wait till fall 😅 thank you so much for watching!! ❤
I LOVE my Chiaogoo red mini set! I found I needed to consciously relax my hands at first. First I had the KnitPro Mindful mini set and destashed it because the cable was so rigid - Nancy you might love them. Once you join in the round, the needle feels like a circle, there’s hardly any flex in the cable. As an added bonus, if you buy the set it comes with a ton of notions and a wonderful needle pouch. I really wanted to love them.
Nancy lent me her red set and I'm totally buying them off of her! I hold my needles differently than her so maybe that's why they are not working for her. Thank you so so much for watching!!
This was so much fun seeing the both of you together. I envy people that have knit friends close. I don’t have that but I have you! ❤ You watch Hallmark movies but your dreams may be caused by your music 😂😂😂 tastes. 😉 Too funny. I often dream I am on an elevator that busts through the roof and doesn’t stop. 😳🤪 I need to Dm you because I have something to tell you about campingfrom our La P’tite Laine meet up.
hahaha you maybe on to something about the dreams and music! but I think it's just from everyday stress really 😂. and I have totally dreamt about falling elevators too! hmm maybe you listen to the same music that i do hahaha just kidding 😋 I'm so happy and grateful that you enjoyed the podcast. Knitting friends are the best even though sometimes we are far away. oh I love camping stories so please do share and let me know what you are working on! thank you so much for your kind words and happy knitting Helen! 🥰
This was a lot of fun! I have followed you, Sophie however I was not familiar with Nancy; started following her as well! Not yarn related, but you had mentioned having migraines. Have you ever heard of the book “The Dizzy Cook”, by Alicia Wolf? I have a family member that has had GREAT success using the recipes from this book! Continued success ❤ Looking forward to more episodes!
Hi Jeanette! Thank you so much for watching! Nancy is so fun to be with, I'm so happy i was able to connect with her and be so close! So happy you enjoyed the episode! And I have never heard of this cookbook and I'm going to definitely check it out! Thank you so much for mentioning it! 🥰🧶
hi Emilia! Thank you so much for tuning in again!💖 It was so much fun to record. I hope all is well over there and that you get some cozy and crafty moments with your family! 🥰
Thanks for the tip of moving some stitches from the back to the front in yoked sweaters - I'm just about to separate for body and sleeves on a colourwork sweater I'm "frankensteining" out of two separate patterns (one of them being for kids originally), so there's some math and some fudging going on anyway, so I might as well add this little modification into the mix 😅🤣
That's awesome! You'll have to let me know how that works out! I'm going to try to do the same on my Tee Shirt when I get to that point. thanks for watching and happy knitting!! 🥰🧶

I’ve just started the Salty air tee. I’m using Linen Quill yarn by Purl Soho. (Love, love, love linen quill) I’m just doing the yoke and the pattern is well written. Love from Calgary.
Oh hello in Calgary! I've heard so many knitters rave about linen quill yarn! I need to get my hands on some someday soon! and Yay for the Salty Air tee! happy to hear the pattern is good so far! I'm looking forward to start that one too. Thank you so much for watching and waving right back from New Brunswick! 🥰🙋♀️
@@cozymeadowknits I have the mini and rarely use them for the same reasons Nancy mentioned. If I need to use 2.25 or 2.5 etc I just get the fixed 9” circulars.
