Francis Alun is a tireless promotor of the music of Milhaud. He recoreded the integral of his symphonies. This symphony has been wriyyen at a time when the language of Milhaud was stabilized. No more experimantations or research in this score. Milhaud takes advantage of the la,guage that he developed before. The score is calm and serene, the themes and the orchestration are clear. This is a very nice symphony. Thx for posting.
