  • Multiple structures were burned and a number of evacuation orders were in place in Maui, Hawaii, as fire crews battled brush fires fanned by strong winds on Tuesday, August 8, authorities said.

    How do two fires start simultaneously; one on each of two islands: and a second on one island starting AFTER the one down wind of it?

      downed powerlines? Winds had gusts up to 80+mph.

      @@MrSneaksful Power lines and stations can spark fires for sure. But so many in multiple locations? I havent heard of that.

    Wild fires? I think not. Just like Canadas “wild” fires. What really happened here? A protest gone horribly wrong?
