- The Men Tell All episode of Hannah B's season of The Bachelorette was a bit of the Luke P show... but at least Hannah apologized for it! The episode began in Greece, and then we traveled to the studio in LA, where Luke got PLENTY of time to explain his behavior and discuss the events of the season. Then Hannah came out and spoke to Mike and a few of the other men directly. And we got a great tease of Bachelor in Paradise! Our mom, Shay, sat in for all the shenanigans. Give it a watch!

Peter has sexing, Jed has a girlfriend, and Tyler is a really nice guy, who seems to actually consider Hannah before himself, so obviously she won't pick him. "Why you tellin' her who she is, Bro?" This shows Tyler's understanding that Hannah is an individual, not just something "he" wants her to be.
Tyler has restored my faith in men. 🌹

In a relationship, you should add on to each other and build each other up. I truly think Luke believes having a marriage means you have to think the exact same way and essentially morph into one. Luke should be adding on to Hannah’s identity, not trying to make sure their identities are in perfect unison.

Also he's trearing marriage itself like a competirion and who's going ro be better at it. In his world, he KNOWS what makes a perfect union. He's telling Hannah what how she's going to act in order to achieve that "perfect" marriage. He's an asshat. Be all, know all & he deserved that verbal kick in the balls!!! Plus he's just a jealous narcissistic dick!

Luke needs to learn to say “I am a bad communicator, let me rephrase” instead of “I was misunderstood”. It has been painful to see someone be so isolated and ostracized for this entire season. As much as we want Luke to see Hannah’s side and our perspectives, I can’t help but notice how we’ve ignored his repeated apologies. I’ve dealt with real narcissists in my life and they never apologize period- Luke in fact did. He also owned up to the fact that he was projecting an ideal onto Hannah and not seeing reality ... something the production of that show encourages with their isolating the contestants. He made a lot of mistakes, but was also the victim of a terribly manipulative edit and dog-piling by all the contestants and production. I think he took such a long time responding because he’s at a point where he knows he sucks at communicating and whatever he said is going to be edited or taken the wrong way. At the end of the day, I agree with Mateo, his price has been paid and I hope he grows, evolves and heals from this experience.
L Fox during the whole Luke S ordeal, we all saw him apologize to the guys, then lie to their faces about what he was going to tell Hannah. If he’s not a narcissist then he’s a pathological liar, but something is definitely wrong with him.
YES, thank you. I completely agree, and I also feel that, as a Christian, Hannah handled most of what happened well and represented her faith, but what bothered me was that she said she was tired of being slut shamed yet she spent most of her air time shaming Luke and throwing shade that entire night. And not just her. It wasn't a Men Tell All, it was a Luke Roast. Don't get me wrong, he pissed me off the entire season and I wanted him gone. But when it came to him asking Hannah about sex with other guys, I do think he had a right to know. I would want to know if the person I'm getting ready to marry is having sex with someone else. Imagine being the guy she chooses in the end, knowing that she possibly slept with the other 2 guys just the week before. It's kinda messed up. In my humble opinion, I think that it's more respectful to all the guys not to sleep with them knowing very well I'm about to send home 2 of them. Even if you're not religious, these are real ppl with real relationships progressing, and having sex is a pretty solidifying step. It's the double standard that Dan brought up in the interview when talking about Jed's gf. Jed gets a crap storm for having a gf before the show, Luke gets one for asking her if she slept with anyone, but it's fine for her to date 25 guys, make out with whoever, and sleep with whoever in the fantasy suites. I don't think Luke went about any of it the right way, like hey, maybe it could've waited for the fantasy suite when you guys were talking alone. And maybe stop saying things on a show that films your every word, to later deny that you said the things that they're constantly rolling clips of. 🤷♀️

Luke has shown the WORLD who he is....LIVE TV he took a long time to answer because narcs are cunning undermining lack empathy and extremely difficult to rehab he has no true sense or comprehension of truly being sorry otherwise he would not continue to be apologizing all the time....it just will never end with him.
Ashley Zalazinski I usually don’t like it when people criticize Hannah for this, but I don’t feel that way when you say it. I think I was honestly just peeved with Luke, and didn’t feel that it was what he said at the time as much as the deeper problem they had, he’s just not her person.the realms and worlds in which he processes are far too different to Hannah’s. Oh gosh let me rephrase, I meant I was defensive of Hannah bc I have been peeved at Luke and just was done with him. But your right. At the same time she had stated and made boundaries that they needed to stay I. Their lanes as well as the bachelorette being intended as a 3 year romantic journey in 3 months in order to really find one’s husband in a short time, so I personally understand and feel Hannah’s intentions as well as I feel she communicated earlier on, that’s really why I feel the other guys weren’t upset with her, and the real reason why what Luke said at least when he said it and how he went about it was bad (when being when the cameras where rolling rather then in private)

I think what "literally changed in a day" was her date w/Tyler: the way he treated her threw her for a loop. She loved it so much that perhaps because she had previously dismissed that relationship, she was led to say "I have to re-think all my relationships" as he was leaving...

I’m gonna play devil’s advocate for a second. I know Luke has been weird and manipulative af but some of his assumptions are not total conjecture. In Colton’s season, Hannah’s introduction video made her seem like a born again Christian (Virgin) where she talked about Compton’s virginity as being a super attractive quality, her own regret she wasn’t still a Virgin and her belief that sex is sacred (or something along those lines). If Luke saw that and saw her on the season, it’s understandable he would assume she was similar to him in that way - kind of Virgin wannabes. Additionally, he didn’t see her date the other guys on their season, so he wasn’t probably assuming she was acting the way he would imagine someone who is in that mindset of being ‘born again’ might act so he likely made the comment about sex the night of the fantasy sweet very certain she hadn’t slept with anyone. That being said, he’s still controlling and manipulative and clearly not meant for a show like this if his espoused values are real. He needs to go to his church and maybe meet someone who has those same beliefs so he won’t be so ‘blindsided’ in the future :). But, to his defense, what Hannah said in her Colton season and how she acted in her own were different. Not saying she shouldn’t do whatever she wants, but that’s likely where the confusion came from and why he thought she was his dream girl.

I thought the same as far as why he liked Hanna so much, however, something that serious like celibacy is important & should have been mentioned early on especially before you declare your falling in love on a 1st group date. She's been with 2 men who she thought she was gonna marry which is different than saying I'm saving myself for marriage. She did have a lot of sexual energy. He heard the other guys mention kisses, he saw her kiss and he knew about the naked bungy jumping. Perfect time that day he went to see her to express what he was looking for.You would think he would have researched or watched the show prior to going on. Only a true narcissist would think himself above 23 Sessions of Bachelor and 14-15 Seasons Bachelorette right? To say I thought she was gonna call the show and say send everybody home, really! People like that won't take no for an answer, they have to win, they only care about how things make them fell. There is a difference than someone that may just use the wrong word unintentionally and someone who just is clueless. He's heard things said this way his whole life and maybe only surrounds himself with others with similar ideology. So this was not the best environment for him to experiment.
The problem is that if this is true it’s more Luke made an assumption on vague information rather then directly communicating with Hannah about it. I don’t think Luke has had many serious relationships and doesn’t know how to go about it, that’s also probably why he felt he was falling in love early. It’s the closest relationship he has had, atleast one of the few.
It’s also important to think why he thought it the way he did, and what that says about his subconscious what is he really thinking about?
@@naturalnikkismile1709 He's not a narcissist for not watching the Bachelor before going on, many other contestants have been cast without ever watching the show. Do you think those other people thought they were above the Bachelor too? He's a narcissist for other reasons. He probably is mostly around people with similar ideology now but that wasn't the case in college.
Didn't say Luke P was a narcissist for "just not watching the bachelor" was saying after 23 & 15 seasons of Bachelor & Bachelorette history, what makes one think they would be the only ONE to defy the odds, that falls under narrcisim. I think Hannah reacted the way she did is because she had already picked Luke in her heart as the one. He then judged her and she doesn't know what to do. She now stuck with people she doesn't really love but felt the pressure to pick one.

The ending was the best, Momma dancing just before delivery. We are all waiting for the news. Mahalo for posting. It came live around 8am here on Kauai. I crawled back into bed to watch it. Rainy day here, power on and off the last 2 days, storms in the Pacific. Internet on / off. But, I gladly used up my cell battery to catch yr show. Mom reads people well. She's a keeper for guest appearances. And I agree w her, on counseling. Growing up in the book, the parables are there as guidelines... But, adapting that time period to current time is a must. Federal law, women vote now.

I love watching your recaps! They always have me cracking up. I have no idea whether this is the reason for Hannah’s hands looking reddish purple, but I have something called Raynaud’s Syndrome, which could be what she has....

There’s a more complex medical description than that, but that’s the gist. Which might also explain why her nose was always so red throughout the whole season; esp. at cocktail parties where she always seemed to be freezing & in winter coats.

It is just the absence of very pale make-up. Like her nose becoming red whenever someone kisses her. The over pale make-up rubs off to reveal her natural rosy coloring. .
