TBH, the scariest and the most dangerous Thresher Maw is from ME1. If you play ME Trilogy you know it but if you didn't here are reasons. ME1: Thresher Maws in ME1 attack you by ambushing out of nowhere and if you're unlucky enough, a direct hit at the moment it emerging from the ground can kill you. Despite you know where to find them it's still scary hearing it emerges. And there is no easy way to kill them without gameplay exploitation. ME2: It appears as a boss fight during Grunt's loyalty mission. It's pretty dangerous but thanks to cover-rich environment it's quite easy to slay it and make the Krogans shock in your resourcefulness. ME3: Only thing that should terrify you is the Reaper but don't worry, Kalros will be there to help you once you called her.

DRILLER from the TRANSFORMERS Dawn of the Moon. That is quite huge. Eventhough its body is constructed with metals, it is still a organic living being, a metal worm ...
There were also giant sand worms in Breath of the Wild and Tears of the kingdom called Moldugas, and 3 giant worms in Shadow of the colossus called Kuromi, Dirge, and Phalanx.
Rip: Benjamin, Anthony, Kim Valeria, Adam fenix, anya, jack del or jd, Oscar, kaits mother, The female carmine who I can never remember their name, dom, barrick, tai, Dom's wife and 10 000+ COG soldiers, deebees 1000000+civilians, 1000+ onyx guards I think I missed alot
You under played the worm gods ALOT. The largest worm god is most likely Akka. One segment of him was used to make the dreadnought. Worms have 100 Segments. The dreadnought is calculated to be 3500km without some spikes. Adding them makes it 4000km. 4000x100=400,000 Akka was 400,000 Kilometres long, for context the sun is 1,391,000 kilometres in diametres
But not as much as they deserve. He gave them a downright tiny size compared to what they're capable of. The Dreadnaught is between 640-960 km long, and is made of only a segment of Akka.
3rd place: Apophis: 1000+ km (you say a couple of kilometers, but you listed it as being 1000+. And mythologically speaking, Apophis is capable of swallowing the sun, so... not sure here) 2nd place: Worm Gods: 1000+ km (Oryx's Dreadnaught was made out of _one single segment_ of Akka. Oryx's Dreadnaught can be estimated to be between 640 to 960 kilometers. And that's only a _piece_ of that Worm God.) *1st place:* *Rift Worms: **_13-16 km_* I think your measurements are a little... off. And some stuff about what you missed: Kalros, Mother of All Thresher Maws, is nearly 3 kilometers long, half again as long as a Sovereign-class Reaper. Gravemind is just a single physical instance serving as a key mind for the overall greater Gravemind intelligence. And it can grow vastly larger. Your size measurement is off--the Gravemind instance in Halo 2 had spread inside the entire ring of Installation 05. With a diameter of 10,000 km, this gives that one single Gravemind instance a minimum length of 31,415 kilometers. If it ever sat down and had time to infest a planet, it would grow vastly larger. Nydus Worms are capable of near-infinitely growing in length, they simply grow more tissue to extend themselves, then re-absorb it when retracting. They're limited only by the supply of biomass. We see them stretching more than twice the length of a leviathan (which average at 6.7 km) to grab hold of the prison ship in Heart of the Swarm, if you want a solid in-game measurement. The Nydus Worm was also first seen in Wings of Liberty, not Legacy of the Void.
According to two different methods, Oryx's Dreadnought(without the death spikes) is 3500km long. Adding the spikes makes it over 4000km. Eathworms have 100 segments making Akka over 400,000 Kilometres long. The diameter of the Sun is 1,391,000. kilometres
