Y are people so scared of DMX ? It's not hard thing I have been using it for years and years . MIDI and DMX bough have learning curves . Love them both. I have been a moving head op. for years with large consoles and small consoles in touring, film, tv. and videos. Love my dmx as a tool for small venues .
This is really frustrating me. All I get is black on my lights. I have all the addresses set up on the fixtures and nothing!!! I have the same screen, i'm on the scene builder, and i get nothing
Any light with dmx capabilities can be programmed with this controller. If the light is not already in the pre-programmed list of fixtures then you can email tech support and they will make the file for you. Or, if you know how many channels it has and what each channel does, you can add it to the list manually.
I have 4 moving heads that I would like to know if they can be controled with this software they are the chinese 60w moving heads best known as mx-q spot led 2000

Does this software not have pre programmed scenes? Then all you would need to do is change the gobos and colors to suit your preference on said scene?

What about generic fixtures say from China? Do they have a cat. for them or is it just for systems on the list??

Hi, Can you use a controller to move the sliders or do you have to use your pc/laptop?
You can USE a USB/MIDI controller no problem. You just need to map it correctly.
