The Duggars are sick. Just because one child abuses doesn't mean it's his problem alone. The whole family is ill. Josh is vile but who did it to him ? Plus all the lying and minimizing. I feel very sorry for the girls of that cult.
My husband was so shy too. I thought I'd never get his real attention. Turned out he was always interested. The thing was every time he was about 3ft away from me, I declare I felt electricity. Turned out he did too. It freaked him out at first. So when he finally kissed me I was ecstatic. From that moment on we were together. We were both in the Air Force. So after the proposal my enlistment was up but I stayed in Wichita Falls, TX. I also thought he was going to break up with me when he proposed. So three daughters and 31 years of loving my Soul Mate and best friend he passed away. Suddenly. 9 years ago now. I think I will miss him forever. He always left me notes and called just to say he loved me. Last fall when I was having a particularly hard time I found one of his notes in an art magazine. It's framed now. I felt it was his final message to me telling me how much he loved me.
I am so very sorry for your loss but you were so very blessed to have known the love of a wonderful man who is your soul mate (I'm not trying to tell you that, I'm just acknowledging it) I pray you have peace and joy. God bless

I’m not LDS, but I always open my door and my home to these kids, and I try to have them over for at least one home cooked meal. Be kind, be open, and be honest, if it’s not for you, but, above all, be respectful. ❤️❤️
Missionaries are not allowed to contact their families and some of them are suffering and need help. Ask them if they are ok. Ask if they need your phone or internet. They may be hungry they have very limited money for food and have to rely on church members to feed them. Be aware they are young people and are isolated from their homes.

Derek reminds me SO MUCH of my son. His style, high-energy, height, build, big smile w/flashy white teeth, humor, haircut/color, the way he talks (even the very way he talks with his hands)body language, and yes, my son is THAT good-looking. He looks JUST like him- facial features, complexion, EVERYTHING. It's SO WEIRD (in a fun way!). Even when it came to awkwardness with girls before he got married.

This is so making me laugh because I can relate! My husband and I were worse - friends for two years before we held hands and started becoming romantic. We started as friends and became wonderful friends. We were both afraid to take it to a romantic level as we were afraid it would ruin our friendship. We used to laugh later on and talk about how socially inept we were for that time. It worked out wonderful as we had built a solid friendship and then romance entered the relationship. We were together for 26 years but I lost my best friend Nov. 1, 2022. He died suddenly. I am so grateful for what we had, though. I feel very blessed by God to have been able to experience that kind of love in our relationship. No man will ever be like him - his shoes can’t be filled. ❤️🙏
The handshake reminds me of my high school crush who I hadn’t seen in 33 years. He arrives I stick out my hand and he gives this side look and grabs me in a bear hug. Happily married now . No handshakes for us! Love this story it makes my heart smile.

He is either going to bring your boyfriend back (without you having to do a thing) or He is bringing your boyfriend (someone who is somehow even better for you), and God will do this faster than you think. Surround yourself only with things that comfort and give hope to you. Music- nothing sad. Nothing romantic. On You Tube find Michael Sealey. He has videos to help you sleep. They are safe. When I was in this exact situation I read the Bible, especially Psalms and Proverbs. You are already a wife. You are already a wife to a man who adores, loves and treasures you. The Bible says that when a boy/man finds a wife he finds a good thing. I heard an interpretation of that verse. It means that the girl is already the wife, before they meet, or before he realizes how he feels. What you are going through is hard, I know. I know. Plan fun things for yourself, real or imaginary. I planned a trip to Europe- eventually I went. The planning took my mind off of it. I was in college and wrote on my notebooks, RLIICHWBB which stood for Relax, God is in control. He will be back. It turns out, he did try to come back (they ALWAYS do) but I no longer wanted to be with him, because God had sent someone I loved more. When you are happily married, this moment in time will not make you sad. You would not be able to cry if you tried. The feeling of sadness would not be possible to experience, just as a memory. KNOW that you will be happy, loved and married. God has the plan. He can change the heart and the mind of a king (verse from the Bible). So God will take care of you and your heart. I am already saying prayers for you and sending you love and positive energy. I’m a mom now, and my heart goes out to you.

It's funny watching this again, right after watching a video just now where Derik takes Jack to the store, And I'm thinking "he's so outgoing I think he must be more like Sarah, so he probably won't have problems dating girls when he gets to be of that age". Missionaries are not allowed to contact their families and some of them are suffering and need help. Ask them if they are ok. Ask if they need your phone or internet. They may be hungry they have very limited money for food and have to rely on church members to feed them. Be aware they are young people and are isolated from their homes.

Derek reminds me SO MUCH of my son. His style, high-energy, height, build, big smile w/flashy white teeth, humor, haircut/color, the way he talks (even the very way he talks with his hands)body language, and yes, my son is THAT good-looking. He looks JUST like him- facial features, complexion, EVERYTHING. It's SO WEIRD (in a fun way!). Even when it came to awkwardness with girls before he got married.

This is so making me laugh because I can relate! My husband and I were worse - friends for two years before we held hands and started becoming romantic. We started as friends and became wonderful friends. We were both afraid to take it to a romantic level as we were afraid it would ruin our friendship. We used to laugh later on and talk about how socially inept we were for that time. It worked out wonderful as we had built a solid friendship and then romance entered the relationship. We were together for 26 years but I lost my best friend Nov. 1, 2022. He died suddenly. I am so grateful for what we had, though. I feel very blessed by God to have been able to experience that kind of love in our relationship. No man will ever be like him - his shoes can’t be filled. ❤️🙏

He is either going to bring your boyfriend back (without you having to do a thing) or He is bringing your boyfriend (someone who is somehow even better for you), and God will do this faster than you think. Surround yourself only with things that comfort and give hope to you. Music- nothing sad. Nothing romantic. On You Tube find Michael Sealey. He has videos to help you sleep. They are safe. When I was in this exact situation I read the Bible, especially Psalms and Proverbs. You are already a wife. You are already a wife to a man who adores, loves and treasures you. The Bible says that when a boy/man finds a wife he finds a good thing. I heard an interpretation of that verse. It means that the girl is already the wife, before they meet, or before he realizes how he feels. What you are going through is hard, I know. I know. Plan fun things for yourself, real or imaginary. I planned a trip to Europe- eventually I went. The planning took my mind off of it. I was in college and wrote on my notebooks, RLIICHWBB which stood for Relax, God is in control. He will be back. It turns out, he did try to come back (they ALWAYS do) but I no longer wanted to be with him, because God had sent someone I loved more. When you are happily married, this moment in time will not make you sad. You would not be able to cry if you tried. The feeling of sadness would not be possible to experience, just as a memory. KNOW that you will be happy, loved and married. God has the plan. He can change the heart and the mind of a king (verse from the Bible). So God will take care of you and your heart. I am already saying prayers for you and sending you love and positive energy. I’m a mom now, and my heart goes out to you.

It's funny watching this again, right after watching a video just now where Derik takes Jack to the store, And I'm thinking "he's so outgoing I think he must be more like Sarah, so he probably won't have problems dating girls when he gets to be of that age". And I bet you're probably thinking "oh no, let's not have that happen too soon!", Because of course when you're parents, it generally does feels like it's too soon (unless you've got a kid who's a late bloomer, and I somehow don't see Jack dang it a late bloomer). I remember when my son started dating, and that's the way I felt!

My fiancés father and mother were President of the Temple in Denver, Co. his mother passed , Grant moved full time to St. George after re - marrying.
