    Today I don't say "hi friend" , but "hi my brother". I don't know exactly what implies in english, but here in Spain it means an UPPER level of bond. Your story touched me. I know zero about chemist, physics, etc. No matters. You inspire better and more important things aside that stuff. Keep on your way. Thanks to be there.

    The burner has only one small flaw. And that's because it gets blocked with carbon after a fairly short time. I see that as a pretty big problem. Those who claim that it's not hydrogen are going to be pissed off.

    • @NOBOX7
      @NOBOX7  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Hello Friend , in practice the carbon will be burned out as the burner is shut down air will be added into the red hot chamber burning and maintaining the burn heat . They do this very process in regenerative hydrogen producers used by the military's for weather balloons . They use 2 chambers for continual gas production .One is in a reducing state removing Rust while the other is in an oxidizing state making h 2 gas from red hot iron and steam

      @@NOBOX7you can probably 3d print 2 gas circuits in the same burner. Oxidize one at the same time that the other one is cracking. Then switch them back and forth and never have carbon buildup.

    When you have time you should experiment with preheating air. With a giant preheater that has all of the flame go directly thru it I am melting the surface of silicon carbide crucibles using waste oil. It also melts ceramic stove glass. Its quite bulky, but works good for certain applications

    What about insulating the outer section of the chamber? I know it was glowing red on the previous burner. Might keep a little heat in the unit. Also what about some fins inside the burner to absorb and transfer some additional heat to the chamber? Might also give some IR radiation as well?
    Also re inconel can you buy sheet and roll and weld it? Might be cheaper. I have seen this done for some exhaust manifolds.

    It may be quite a stupid idea, but what if you make the counter flow tubing from a standard steel but coated, in appropriate way, with the thermal paste you have created. In this way you control the thickness and even you can experiment with several patterns of coating.

    For the record, I dug story time. Thank you. If I didn't have surfing as a teenager I might have got locked up too. So much buzz involved but after 4 hours of paddling getting pounded by big waves, and up to 4 hours of driving per day (rallying gravel roads for some of the way), you are so spent, one beer and zzzzzz. Chilled unit. But re this cracking business, what if you had co-flow and counter-flow in the same burner? Like a double layer cracking chamber. Or a longer cracking tube, along with forcing a spiral somehow.
    And alternatively, how hot is your HHO flame on that type S thermocouple? Because GE E T fuel reformers crack any hydrocarbon into H. Even crude oil and seawater will crack. The book of G E E T can be easily found online and has complete instructions. Imagine having cheap H on demand? Vacuum and heat exchange is required to produce the effect. Usually with an adapted ICE engine but could be made in other ways. i.e. exhaust from furnaces; tesla turbines to pull the vacuum.

    Explains a few things 😀👍
    Cool design.
    Was thinking it would be nice to make inner and outer tubes so they can slide apart for cleaning.... just the sealing is the problem.... maybe the carbon would help seal the 2 joints. If it was machined .

      Hello friend
      Im thinking about doing a burn out cycle at teh end of each run , just pumping air into the red hot pyrolyzer chamber should start a self sustaining cook off . Carbon is very hard to burn despite popular belief . I triedto burn a piece with a lighter and it wont stay lit

  • @34Qureshi
    @34Qureshi 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    Dear what if you place the inner tube with little thicker to avoid melting. Yes you did it but what I saw was that it was straight tube shape what if you give some conical shape something like making jet effects I think it will get heated enough and will not melt. This is just idea you may disagree or you may have already done it maybe I missed that.
    But keep it don't get disappointed if you fail. I believe it wants to be successful we should fail first
    Regards

    A monoatomic atom [any gas or solid] is called a 'singlet'.
    Some singlets will exist in this reaction.
    When singlet hydrogen reacts, it does release more heat energy.
    The only problem is, that over time, solid carbon [coke] builds up inside the system and has to be cleaned out.
    Also, mathematically, while there is more heat coming out of your burner, a lot of energy is being lost/wasted because it is not being burned.
    Therefore, its a trade-off between concentrated heat energy, and total gross energy.

    If you could find a way to use HHO gas without preignition it will give you the hottest flame as that gas comes with all the oxygen it needs for complete combustion.

      I was thinking that also.. takes quite a big unit to make enough gas. But actually not that expensive to buy, the Severs youtube channel demos the units they sell out of Belarus. Quite a big flame for only a couple of grand. I totally trust that operator. Genuine good dude and clever. I burnt the plates on my last big HHO electrolizer and those Severs units are on my wishlist. But bro here is in the business of selling burners, not HHO units.

      @@waynoswaynos Ah ok, seems he's after heat though so that would be an excellent choice, I wonder if the energy cost in electricity is higher than the gas cost, or if it's lower....

    • @waynoswaynos
      @waynoswaynos 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@bogganalseryd2324 I recall $12 worth of liquid propane in the first successful experiment but he didn't say how many grams were consumed. One of the Severs HHO units makes 650 litres per hour of gas at 2.4 kW. But you'd need to melt 336g of drill bits with both methods side by side to really know. My money would be on the HHO. It doesn't have the endothermic hydrocarbon cracking issue cooling the flame we learned about in this video for one. And for two it burns pure oxygen with the monatomic H.
      A torch and a gas bottle certainly have lower start up costs. If I had $3K in an HHO system it would take me 90 (in my country) bottles of liquid propane to catch up if the torch cost $300. But I could do more stuff with HHO IMO.

    • @bogganalseryd2324
      @bogganalseryd2324 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@waynoswaynos yeah I agree, it probably won't be on an order of magnitude cheaper but as long as it is a bit cheaper it could be worth it, especially if you can build the hho generator yourself, maybe even from parts you have laying around.

    • @waynoswaynos
      @waynoswaynos 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@bogganalseryd2324 Depends on how you value your time, brother. I literally spent months designing and fabricating a 128-plate wet-cell electrolyser on 230VAC and 3kw (I'm in NZ), designing and building the entire system, housing, electronics, plumbing. There were several iterations as each weak point failed and required more thought and rebuilding.
      Making something that can be taken apart again many times and still hold pressure and not break is also an art, if this is not your field of expertise, will be a challenge. My budget was fairly tight but after maybe a year of tinkering with this in my spare time, I have something that is presently broken. And, it cost me way more than if I had just bought one outright from overseas!
      I'm not lamenting this too much because I learnt so many amazing new life skills (and I love designing and inventing). But Seriously, buy one off the shelf! Take it apart and do some reverse engineering if you need to, and save yourself a lot of time. Find the Eagle Research channel here on youtube and look at the health benefits of HHO. Its not just for melting stuff.
      Also, Hydrogen embrittlement may be a thing if cutting, welding or brazing steel with HHO. Weakening parts and potentially making them unsafe. Confirmation required here.
