Later, I found my BEYONDER letter, and I now realize that the BEYONDER network was to be a social network created by a Jew, who knew about the Noahide Laws because he was a Jew, and he exploited his knowledge of them to try and start a business. Perhaps the origins of the 7 Noahide Laws can be found somewhere in the sagecraft of the Jews, or, perhaps, they can be found in the Talmud, which is the written version of what was once the Oral Torah. As a former 'messianic' I had came to this exact conclusion and calculation studying Daniel.. I however started it with the siege of Jerusalem in 597/98bc, when the temple offerings likely ceased, added 1290 years and came to 692ce.. which is right when the Dome of Rock was dedicated. I then added the 1335 days and came to the year 2027. So I'm glad to see that someone well learned in Hebrew scriptures has also concluded something similar to myself, a total amateur who originally (20 years back) got the idea that the abomination of desolation of Daniel was the Dome of the Rock from the christian eschatology view known as 'historicisim'.

Daniel's 490 years is clearly seen in the Jewish timeline. Destruction of 1st Temple - 3338. add 70 years of exile - 3408, add 490 years = 3898. Which is the year that Hadrian died after he completed the destruction of Judah and the defeat of Bar Kokhba. Another interesting tidbit, the total number of years between 3898 and 5708 (Israel reborn) is 1810 years. The UN resolution that created the state of Israel was Resolution 181

I believe it is important as a Jew to know the Tenakh. But as an educated man knowledgeable in the sciences, I believe that it is necessary to realize that our universe, in a possible multiverse, is over fourteen billion years old and the earth over four billion years old, not a few thousand as the Torah states.
Jews recognize that the universe and everything in it is eternal and infinite. It always was and always will be. The 6000 years is just a hunk of time that pertains to our current use of the calendar, this "age" or "era". Billions and trillions don't stand in the infinite. It just IS.
