Politically, I loathe, hate and despise everything that Julie Bishop stands for - I'm not being political, just stating a preference - but there was something disturbingly arousing about that.
Whilst in opposition the Deputy Leader of the Liberal Party IS the Deputy Leader of the Opposition, it's only once the Coalition forms Government that the Leader of the Nationals becomes Deputy Leader of the Government aka Deputy Prime Minister.

Imagine the LNP ever considered a woman leading their party; they'd have saved themselves and the rest of Australia the monumental waste of time that was the Abbott/Turnbull/Morrison years - zero progress and a lot of waste.

WellI gotta say she impressed with this performance. Gotta admit she carried it off way better than most. Can You image Barneby Joyce, Bob Katter, Browyn Bishop, Fred NIile. I still I hate her, & she didn't change my mind but I now see why she is so solid in the parliament.

Despite the notion of free speech in this great democratic society of Australia, there are a growing number of no-go subjects that are becoming highly provocative to make fun of, even in comedy. For example, race and gender identity politics. How do you reconcile the last exchange (not the actual interview) between Tom Gleeson and his female colleague and the growing and intense criticism of men making similar comments that are cited as examples of being sexist and misogynistic? These are modern day issues that I don't personally agree with, but I do find hypocrisy and the application of double standards very galling, hence my comment. Lastly, if you really are concerned with how other people are treated, then making comments that are neither crass and rude, like yours, will help and also make for better debate.

@@ale3jandr0 Actually deputy leader of the opposition goes to the leader of the national party, as that's how the coalition works and when the coalition is in government the leader of the national party, not the deputy leader of the liberal party, becomes deputy prime minister

firstly this is purely comedy, and secondly he doesn't go after naive college kid, thirdly roasts are a trope already, and fourthly he is satirising an interview format by having the main focus of the interview on an extreme topic such as I hate you change my mind, + when did the change my mind steve crowder thing come out before 2013, and lastly roast are are already a trope in comedy.
So much hate, zero respect, not enough humour. Who is paying for this garbage.
