Another thing I noticed if you haven't already, paragraph 267 lists the year as 2023, when 266 lists the year as 2024. I believe 267 should also be 2024.

For real, he and his lawyers are probably having a pant shitting festival.
The lawyers get paid win or lose, there job isnt necessarily to win, its to best represent & fulfil their clients instructions as much as possible, which can result in a variety of outcomes.
Filling a suit is cheap, and most lawyers would take on a case like this for minimal upfront payment because they get a big cut of the payout should they win for some reason..
Unless the defendant is some homeless buddy who can't pay up regardless, most lawyers will take the case
Maybe if youre hiring some like personal injury law firm or lawyer that takes a cut of the financial settlement. But most civil suit lawyers just charge their normal rates.

is there a reason people don't use this strategy: waste no money on fighting the frivolous SLAAP suit, lose to it, don't pay (because ya has no money), then counter sue... for double, class action or civil suit with all other victims?

I guess what I'm really saying here is: I am deeply Disturbed after watching Coffezilla and Oompaville videos, (which lead me here) seeing how these SLAAP suits work and steal time from people. and this makes me wish there was some Omnislash Limit Break 'counter power move' that existed.
when this is all cleared up and if it's in your favorite or not you should open a foundation for helping folks in the hobby a non-profit of course. even if it's to assist folks with legal issues , other help,therapy, support and other means of positive assistance. it's a really positive outlook that can help many in need . and with pokemon touching so many diffrent walks of life am sure like us there are many more that would offer thier time and services for a good cause. ❤

@1:31:00 in reference to the timezone portion for when the call was made, I do not live in Arizona, but I do know that parts of Arizona, if not the whole state does not participate in daylight savings like the rest of the states, so that may be part of the discrepancy of the hour that Sean is complaining about, which if it is the case, as someone from another country should not be expected to know this unique case associated with daylight savings time in Arizona.

As always, your investigative reporting and documentation is outstanding. However, the law requires that any response or defense are specific to the charges in the suit. You seem to have gone too far off-subject for a lawyer/judge/court of law. No matter for your audience, as the additional facts and evidence surely help make a solid case. No, he wants rattle to spend money on a legal defense and he has already succeeded. Collecting money for these lawsuits are near impossible - but it forces ppl to spend money to defend themselves to avoid default judgement
I'm not sure how the law works and it works in funny ways but I believe rattle will have a counterclaim, an anti-slap as such. It's a way to stop the rich preventing free speech on the less fortunate by just banging expensive lawsuits on them for speaking out (not sure exactly how it works but rattle should be refunded for all financial cost to his defence if he wins, I hope so anyway) It's disgusting tbh just how hard these law suits are to fight but hats off to rattle. Listening to this in full is enough for anyone to avoid this scum bag forever and I hope rattle gets his reward for standing up for what he believes.
