This is one of my favorite 80's rockbands. You should react to their song Feels like love!

I really appreciate your erudite exposition. Spot on. Not sure where "catchy" became a liability but I'm all about it--like you said!

This is great. Very Cheesy but what else can you expect from a hair metal band. And it is Cheesy in a great way.🤟

I guessed this song was from ‘89 or 1990. The sound, the look. Fun, clear, straightforward. And that mix of Pop and Metal. Easy song to enjoy. Not sure I remember this band or song.
I was listening to a podcast and they were saying as you have, that rock isn’t being made and it’s dying because of all the computerized music making and sampling. That is discouraging. There is only so many rehashes people want to hear. In my mind it’s like people who do art collage. Cutting out and sticking parts of other’s original art onto canvas or by computer to make a new piece. There is some decision and creativity in this rearranging and deciding what’s included or left out. But it is not the same as the artist painstakingly painting original work. The talent is not the same. It’s regurgitation in the end. That’s how I see that sampling stuff. It’s also a quick hook into popularity on the back of popular original work. I suppose the originator will get some royalties. But if the industry just becomes that, where is the new work?
I appreciate more and more these musicians who came up actually playing and getting to perfect their instruments.
Fun reaction. I could see you really enjoy this group.

@@gregtroyan I will have to check out Miley’s song. Did Danger Danger have other hit songs? Was this their biggest hit?

You should react to these. Especially the Christmas song come the season. 😁Christmas songs by Rock, Metal, and Glam bands. Heck yeah!

    Criminally underrated band

After the intro, the chords on the verse are so seemingly simple, but so emotive. Double strike of (A?) then (B?). Great nostalgic lost love feel.

I was not very familiar with this band. Good track though. I would love to hear your breakdown of a song such as Aerosmith's You See Me cryin.

"This is one of my favorite hair metal songs. It's just really really great."
Well, now we know why you think Warrant is one of the greatest bands of all-time. Indeed Warrant is amazing compared to this absolute garbage.

@@gregtroyan The lyrics are inane and the song is pure fluff. I love some actual hair metal bands, but using the word metal with these cats is a bit disingenuous. I am not sure what to call them(except for garbage as I did) cuz some call them "glam metal" and that's both a insult to glam and metal.
"Bang Bang what's that sound? I gave you my love and you shot me down" You are songwriter and if someone came to you with that lyric you would be like: "Ok, let's work on this a little bit."
I get fluff music when there is charm to it. Both the music and lyrics have no charm. Nelson wrote better songs than this, and I am not complimenting Nelson by saying that.

@@gregtroyan I agree with the charm of Poison and one of my fav actual glam metal bands Hanoi Rocks. I don't consider Danger Danger a glam rock/metal band. I hate to even put them in same paragraph as Hanoi Rocks.
We can agree to disagree on this song and band. Sometimes bands try to be something they are not and you get bands like Danger Danger. But hey, if you get pleasure from them, then right on. I respect you for enjoying what you enjoy.

@@gregtroyan I am very aware that Hanoi Rocks are not in the same universe in ANY way with Danger Danger. That's part of my point. We agreed to disagree on whether Danger Danger is garbage. Let's leave it at that.
Trying to lecture me on what Hanoi Rocks is amusing. Save that for someone else.👌

@@gregtroyan No apology needed. A comments section is not the place to have meaningful convos on why Hanoi Rocks is epic and Danger Danger is wannabe epic. Misunderstandings are sure to arise. I will check out the Michael Monroe interview when I get time.👍 Never have been interested in Robert Tepper much, but I am open to listening to that interview as well in my free time. Thanks!
