Here we have two instruments with Synthetic Skins which are the futur for percussions (Remo in this case). All drum sets have synthetic skins (weatherking means what it means). You can get the sound you whant because of advenced technology. Good natural skins have sometime a very good sound but are very expnesive. With cheap conga or bongo or djembe skins you ruin your hands healfth in order to get the right sound.

The djembe was supposed to lead the bass groove and not improvise along with the bongos.
